INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SETTING OF THE SPRAYER
Fix the hooks (FE70/1) at the bottom of the shoulder straps (picture 3)
(22PTE, 22PTC).
Screw the extension (189TPE) on the handle (22K5) (22PTE, 22PTC).
Check that the status of the battery is good (see Prg. 6.2), this operation
which ensures the maximum operation of the sprayer must be done every time you
reuse the pump after a period of inactivity.
However, at least every four months of inactivity, the battery must be fully
charged (see Prg. 6.2).
FILLING OF THE SPRAYER TANK
Prepare the solution in a specific container.
Unscrew the cap (92/2) of the tank and pour the prepared solution (picture 4)
through the filter (78/3).
Carefully screw the cap.
WARNING:
Do not prepare the solution in the sprayer tank but always in a separate
container.
Do not ever pour the solution into the tank without the use of the filter.
OPERATION AND POSITIONING OF THE SPRAYER
Link one of the hooks (FE70/1) in its special housing (picture 5) placed in
the lower part of the base (98/61), slip one arm in the shoulder strap and put
the sprayer on one shoulder, then with the other hand seize the free strap and
hook it to the base after passing it over the shoulder. When you put the
sprayer away make the opposite operation (22PTE, 22PTC).
To
activate the sprayer first turn on the general switch then turn the handle
lever to start the sprayer (22PTE, 22PTC). For sprayer 22PTB, you have to
switch it to work directly with the general switch.
WARNING:
Never let the sprayer work when the tank is empty.
This sprayer (22PTE, 22PTC) is supplied with a manual pressure regulator
(10/8) and with an adjustable cone nozzle (928) (picture 7). To regulate the
pressure variation rotate the handle (fig. 1A) of the regulator; when screwing
it tight you get the maximum pressure and by unscrewing it the pressure will
be released. The 22PTB sprayer work with a fixed pressure.
OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT AT TERMINATION OF WORK
When finishing work, pour the remaining liquid into a specific container and
carefully rinse the internal of the tank and the hose letting it flow through
the lance with clean cold water.
Check that the water used for rinsing has completely come out. Turn off the
general on/off switch (0-1) after every use.
In case of long inactivity of the machine, after having cleaned the tank,
remove, clean, and put back the filter inside the tank (98/5) and the one in
the rear part of the handle. Wear protective clothing and equipment during
these activities.
Clean the handle using a wet rag without dipping it into water.
Clean the sprayer from foreign materials such as deposits or other things
which could damage it.
The handle (fig.1A) of the regulator must not be left fully screwed in.
WARNING: Do not disperse the rinsing water or the remaining solution in
the environment; it is recommended to pour all these liquids in specific
drains, appositive for water purification and drainage.
Switch off the general switch (0-1) after every use.
Keep the sprayer out of reach from children and protected it from sun rays and
cold temperatures.
MAINTENANCE
INTRODUCTION
Correct use of the sprayer and regular maintenance is necessary to keep the
sprayer in the best working, efficacy and safety conditions.

- The red light on the battery charger means that the battery is charging.
- The green light on the battery charger means that the battery is charged.
- The complete battery recharge takes 7,5 hours.
- At the end of the re-charge, it is recommended to disconnect the battery charger from the power network first and then from the socket on the side of the machine base;
- During long periods of inactivity, it is recommended to verify that the general switch is off.
The battery lifetime mostly depends on the observance of some important rules:
- Do not create a short-circuit.
- Promptly recharge it with the general on/off switch turned off and respect the necessary time of charging.
- For the recharge exclusively use the battery charger supplied with the sprayer.
- Do not turn the sprayer on when the battery charger is connected.
- After the complete recharge keeps the battery between 5 and 40° C.
- In case of long stocking or non-use, recharge the battery every four months.
When the battery is no longer rechargeable it is necessary to replace it with another one with the same sizes and features, respecting the connection polarities; the old battery shall be taken to an authorized collecting point
