This freezer should be properly grounded for your safety.
The power cord of this freezer is equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
Transportation and Placement
When transporting the chest freezer from one place to another, the inclination of the cabinet should not exceed 45 degrees to prevent against compressor or system damage.
Before use, remove all the packing material. The back side of the cabinet should be more than 20cm away from the wall, both flank sides more than 20cm.
The freezer should be put in a well-ventilated, dry place. Do not place it under direct sunshine. The freezer should be kept away from the water sink, heat sources and any volatile or corrosive material.
Power source and test-running
Specified capacity of the wire is 7A. Section squares of the wire is 0.82mm2. Single line or compound lines are all allowed. A fuse of 2.5A specified electric current should be installed. (Power cord should be replaced with the same of 7A and 0.82mm2 if it is damaged).
Single-phase power supply, 60Hz, voltage range 98~122V. If the voltage is unstable, please install a voltage stabilizer with capacity above 1000W.
Avoid turning the power on and off too frequently. If the power is turned off, wait an interval of 5 minutes before turning it on again.
When the freezer is going to be out of use for a long time, disconnect the power first, remove all its contents and then clean it. Please examine the circuit whether it is in perfect conditions before reuse.
Operation of the Temperature Control Knob
The temperature inside the cabinet can be controlled with the temperature control knob.
The knob should be kept upright normally to adjust the temperature.”MAX”is the coldest freezing setting and is suitable for fast freezing.
Do not keep the knob at this point for long.
“1”: temperature inside the freezer cabinet is around -10
“2”: temperature inside the freezer cabinet is around -12
“3”: temperature inside the freezer cabinet is around -15
“4”: temperature inside the freezer cabinet is around -18
“5”: temperature inside the freezer cabinet is around -20 Factory setting
“6”: temperature inside the freezer cabinet is around -22
“7”: temperature inside the freezer cabinet is around -25
Food storage
Allow space between the foods stored in the cabinet, and between the foods and the inner surface of the cabinet to keep good ventilation of cold air and freeze evenly. Do not put in any bottled or canned beverages with freezing points above the temperature in the cabinet when it is below zero.
For foods that should be moisture-free or lose water easily, wrap them up in airtight food bags or containers before putting in the cabinet to avoid smell- mixing and reduce frosting.
Storage of volatile and combustible gases, liquids such as strong alkalis, strong acids, petrol, etc. is not allowed.

Maintenance

The freezer should be cleaned regularly. When cleaning, turn off the power, take out all the food from the cabinet, and clean the inside using water or a little neutral detergent.
Do not use boiling water, acid, chemical diluents, petrol, oil, or dirt- removing powder.
Dry it after cleaning.
Use light soap water when cleaning the door seal and apply a little of talcum powder on it after natural drying to extend its service life.
Use a soft cloth with water or a little detergent to clean the exterior surface.
Note: Keep the power supply and connecting wires away from water to avoid electric shock.
Those who are not a service technician should not take apart and repair the freezer on their own to avoid additional trouble. Unauthorized repairs of electrical parts as compressor, temperature controller is forbidden.
Defrosting
For better freezing efficiency, defrost when the frost film inside the cabinet is 4-5mm thick.
When defrosting, turn off the power, take out the frozen foods, open the door for warming and melting. Use a soft cloth to absorb water and clean it up.
Do not use sharp metal tools as steel brushes to clean the frost film when defrosting to avoid evaporator damage.

Trouble shooting

Failure Cause Removal method
The indicator is not on. The does not start. The plug is not really connected
to the socket. Replug it.
No power Connect to a socket with rower.
The indicator is on, but the compressor does not work and buzzes only The
power voltage is< 98V. Install a power regulator over 1000W.

The compressor stops a minute after starting, and restarts after a few minutes repeatedly.| The power voltage is> 132V.
The compressor works normally, but the temperature inside the cabinet goes down too slowly.| The door is opened too frequently.| Reduce door opening times.
There is too much food inside the cabinet
And/ or it is improperly placed.| Place foods properly keeping space
between them for ventilation of cold air.
The frost film is too thick.| Take out the food and defrost the freezer.
The surface of the condenser is too dirty.| Stop and clean the condenser.
The door is not sealing.| Adjust the door seal.
The noise is too loud| The freezer not level.| Level the freezer.
The freezer door is loose.| Tighten the door.
There is contact
between the back pipes and the exterior walls.| Separate the pipes from the exterior walls.

The following are not failures:
When the freezer is working or after is stops for a while, the refrigerant in the pipes is cycling and produces “running water” sounds.
The surface temperature of the compressor may be up 70~80 when it is working.
The back side of the freezer gives out heat.
In rainy season, the outer surface of the cabinet may have dew, which is not a defect on normal use. Just dry it with a piece of cloth.

Control Panel
(A) THERMOSTAT: regulates the temperature inside the freezer cabinet.
(B) – POWER INDICATOR: indicates that the freezer is in operation.
