This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.

This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Always store this information with the product for use in the future.

Intended use

This product is intended to clean dust and liquids off waterproof hard floors such as. PVC, linoleum, tiles and waxed parquet.

This product is not intended to clean water-sensitive floors such as untreated cork floors.

The product is intended for indoor use only.

This product is not intended for professional use.

The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep the packaging and this document for future reference.
  • Only use the product as described in this document.
  • This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
  • Do not leave any packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material for children.
  • Make sure the product is placed on a flat and stable surface.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • Do not use the product if it has been dropped, a part is damaged or defective or if it is leaking.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Never add solvents, solvent-containing liquids, or undiluted acids (such as detergent, gasoline, paint thinner, and acetone) to the water reservoir. This may damage the product.
  • Do not immerse the product in water.
  • Do not use in swimming pools containing water.
  • Do not fill the water reservoir above the MAX  indicator.
  • Always use the voltage (A.C. Only) marked on the rating label.
  • Switch off and unplug the product when not in use or before maintenance.
  • Do not leave the product unattended when the product is connected to the power outlet.
  • Keep the product out of reach from children when the product is connected to a power outlet or cooling down.
  • Do not plug or unplug the power cable with wet hands.
  • Never use a dirty or damp charger, this might cause an electric shock.
  • Never cover the charging base, this might cause an electric shock.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block the air vents.
  • Do not use the product near explosive or flammable materials.
  • Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
  • Do not dismantle, open or shred secondary cells or batteries.
  • Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
  • Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.
  • In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
  • Keep cells and batteries clean and dry.
  • Only use the provided charger and charging base.
  • The product is delivered with a partially charged battery. For optimal battery life, fully charge the battery before first use.
  • Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use. Always use the correct charger and refer to the manufacturer’s instructions or equipment manual for proper charging instructions.
  • Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
  • After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge rechargeable cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
  • Do not unplug the product by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package
  • Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.

Installing the product

  • Make sure the product is placed on a flat and stable surface.

1. Push the handle tube A4 into the body A6.

  • When the parts are successfully assembled, you hear a click.

2. Place the product on the charging base A22.

3. Plug the power adapter A20 into a power outlet.

4. Plug the other end of A20 into the charging port A21.

  • Charge the battery for at least 3.5 hours when you use it for the first time.

5. The battery indicator LED A18 lights up.

6. Remove A20 from the power outlet after charging.

7. Leave the product on A22.

  • The lowest battery indicator LED A18 starts flashing if the battery is empty.

1. Hold the handle A1 with one hand, and pull the water reservoir handle A9 with the other hand to remove the clean water reservoir A12.

2. Pull out the water inlet plug A11 and rotate A11 to one side.

3. Add cold or warm tap water to A12 via the hole.

4. Do not exceed the  MAX  indicator A10.

5. Close A11.

6. Place A12 into A6.

Use

The product is delivered with a partially charged battery. For optimal battery life, fully charge the battery before first use.

Using the product
  • Test the water resistancy of the floor.
  • This product is intended to clean dust and liquids off waterproof hard floors such as. PVC, linoleum, tiles and waxed parquet.
  • This product is not intended to clean water-sensitive floors such as untreated cork floors.
  • Make sure the clean water reservoir A12 is filled with water and the dirty water reservoir A16 is installed in the product.
  • Clean the floor from the inside out to avoid leaving footprints on the freshly wiped floor.
  • To avoid damaging the floor with a wet roller brush A8, place the product into the charging base A22 when the product is not in use.

1. Clean the floor with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust or loose particles.

2. Take the product out of A22.

3. Press the on/off button A2 to switch on the product.

  • The roller brush A8 starts to rotate.

4. Press the water spray button A3.

5. Move the product back and forth until A8 is fully wet.

6. Clean the floor by moving the product back and forth at the same speed as using a vacuum cleaner.

7. Press A2 to switch off the product.

8. Place the product on A22.

9. Press the self-cleaning button A17.

  • A8 starts to rotate.
  • The self-cleaning function removes the dirty water from A8.

10. Empty and clean A16. See ‘Emptying and cleaning the dirty water reservoir’.

11. Clean A8. See ‘Cleaning the roller brush’.

Storage

 1.Empty A12 and A16 before storing the product.

2. Dry A8.

  • Do not store A8 into a closed cabinet.
  • Store the product in a dry room.

Cleaning & Maintenance

  •  Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power.
  • Let the product cool down before cleaning it.
  • Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
  • Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.

1. Switch off the product.

2. Empty A12 and A16 to prevent spillage.

3. Place the product on the floor.

4. Pull the roller brush locking button A7 backwards and take A8.

5. Rinse A8 under running water.

6. Make sure the water temperature is not too high to avoid damage to the roller brush bristles.

7. Replace A8.

8. Place the product on A22.

1. Place the product on A22.

2. Press the lid unlock buttons A13 on both sides and remove the dirty water reservoir lid A15.

3. Take A16 out of the product.

4. Use the dirty water reservoir lid A15 to open A16.

5. Empty A16.

6. Clean A16 with tap water.

7. Replace A16, A14.
