Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep the packaging and this document for future reference.
  • Only use the product as described in this document.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
  • Do not look into direct sunlight or any other bright light source. This can cause permanent damage to your eyesight.
  • Always hold the product firmly with two hands, to avoid dropping.
  • Do not attempt to dismantle the product.
  • Do not clean the inside of the product.
  • Protect the product from excessive lighting. Do not point the product at a bright light source. This can cause damage of your product.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package
  • Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.

Use

Adjusting the interpupillary distance (image B)

1. Hold the product with both hands on the hand grips A48.

2. Hold the product up to your face and look with both eyes through the lenses.

3. Hinge the binoculars until a single circular field is visible.

Focusing the binoculars

1. Hold the product up to your face and look with both eyes through the lenses.

2. Close your right eye.

3. Focus on a fixed object using your left eye.

4. Turn the focus wheel A3 until the image is sharp.

5. Open your right eye.

6. Close your left eye.

7. Focus on the same object using your right eye.

8. Turn the diopter ring A10 until the image is sharp.

  • The binoculars are now balanced for your eyes.
  • After focusing the binoculars, only use A3 to focus on objects.
Maintenance
  •  Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
  • Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
  • Do not clean the inside of the product.
  • Do not attempt to dismantle the product.

1. Wipe the lenses using the lens cloth A5.

  • Remove remaining dirt or smudges by adding one drop of isopropyl alcohol to the lens cloth.

Storage

 When not in use, store the product in the storage pouch A7 to avoid damage.

 Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.

This product is designed for private use (normal domestic use) only. Nedis is not responsible for wear, defect and/or damages caused by commercial use of the product.
