INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Before using the device, please read these instructions carefully and retain them for the future reference
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced, physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
IMPORTANT SAFETY SAFEGUARDS
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use. It is intended for domestic use only.
- Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure the voltage of your appliance indicated on the rating plate corresponds to the local voltage.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not move or unplug the appliance by pulling on the cord.
- In order to disconnect the device power supply, pull on the plug, NOT the cable.
- Only use the appliance on a stable surface.
- Make sure the power connection inlet is dry before using.
- To avoid over heating of appliance, we recommend you not place it in a corner or against a wall.
- Do not use any other accessories than those included, otherwise it may cause hazard or injury.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be observed when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquid or when removing the plates/ pots or disposing of hot grease or other hot liquid.
- Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of anything other than metal or glass.
- Do not use metal ustensils to touch any part of appliance and accesories when operating otherwise it may cause a risk of electric shock.
- Oversized foods and metal utensils must not be inserted in the plate/ pot.
- Do not place any of the following materials on or near the appliance: cardboard, plastic, paper or anything similar..
- Do not touch hot surface during operation or until it has cooled down to prevent scald. Always wear protective and insulated gloves when inserting or removing the plates/ pots from the base or touching the handles. Be careful of the steam coming out from the steam hole when opening the lid.
- Do not cover the appliance or place it near inflammable materials including curtains, draperies, walls, etc. when it is in use.
- The appliance should be unplugged:
- if there is a problem when in operation ;
- before cleaning and proceeding with the maintenance,
- before assembling or disassembling it;
- after finished using it.
- Do not use the appliance if it does not operate correctly during operation, or if the power cord or plug is damaged.
- Never attempt to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself. Take your appliance to an approved service center.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- This appliance is not intended to be used in the following applications :
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other residential type environments ;
- Farm houses ;
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments ;
- Bed and breakfast type environments.
Warning labels pasted at the back of the product :
- Never heat up the appliance and the plates/ pot or grate without food on it, or these accessories may be discoloured.
- Do not use the High Heat mode for cooking where no water is added, such as frying and grilling.
- Allow the appliance to cool for one hour and make sure that the power cord is unplugged before cleaning it with a soft cloth only.
- The plates/ pot or grate must be cleaned within 2 hours after cooking or its lifespan may be affected.
- Never use a non-original power cord. Make sure that the included power cord is plugged in firmly, or the appliance may not work properly due to poor connection.
CAUTION: Please use the power cord included in the package. Please do not touch the product when using to avoid scald.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Clean the outer surface of the base with a slightly damp cloth. Wipe thoroughly. Do not immerse the base in water !
- Clean the accessories and the lid with a soft sponge soaked with dishwashing liquid. Rinse and wipe dry thoroughly. Do not put them in dishwasher !
OPERATION
CAUTION: ACCESSIBLE SURFACES AND PARTS CAN BECOME VERY HOT WHILE THE APPLIANCE IS IN OPERATION. NEVER TOUCH THEM: YOU MAY BURN YOURSELF! WAIT UNTIL THEY FULLY COOL DOWN BEFORE TOUCHING THEM!
WARNING:
- Before each use, make sure there is no water and objects on/ near the heating plate or appliance.
- Only place one accessory (plate or pot) onto the base during cooking.
- Never cover grill rack with aluminium foil and any kind of kitchenware..
- DO NOT use aluminium foil to cook food in plates/ pot.
- DO NOT place utensils on the grill rack.
- Only use wooden or silicone Spatula to flip or stir the food. DO NOT use metal spatula or sharp objects.
- On first use, the appliance may slightly emit a smell and possibly give off smoke for the first few minutes. This is normal and will quickly disappear.

Place the device on a stable and horizontal surface and keep a minimum free distance of 10 cm around the device, to allow for adequate air circulation.

Make sure the switch is in the “OFF” position. Then plug the power cord to the appliance and wall socket.

Select the appropriate plale /pot before preheating. Put the food inside the plate (Refer to table below, just below step 4, for the correct procedure for each accessory). Then, switch on the appliance.
Do not put the lid while preheating !
During use, you may hear some noise during operation, it is normal for it is emitted by the heating element. -
Adjust the switch from « LOW » to « HIGH » to preheat around 4-5 minutes. The indicator is on. Then, It will light up intermittently which is an indication that the themostat is adjusting the temperature for normal operation. The table below contains some data about the surface temperature of the plate/ pot only.They are given as an indication.

1. Place the food to be grilled or cooked in the plate. Cooking time varies depending on food.
2. Add some water in the groove at the edge of plate, cover the lid until the food is fully cooked. Take care not to pour water on heating element.
| Use the grill rack for grilling. If you want to boil some food,
make sure the water is boiling
completely before putting the food.
Note : The water level should be kept between min and max water level marks.
| 1. Place some cooking oil or butter in the plate. Add the meat balls. Note : The temperature in the center is higher than the edge,
2. Turn the switch to the “HIGH” position and flip the meat balls once in a while, until fully cooked.
Note : As the heat insulation is indeed different in each plate/pot, please adjust the suitable temperature according to your actual needs.

NOTE:
* If you put the lid onto the deep pot, the water will flow from the edge once the water is boiling, it is normal.
* Takoyaki plate does not need a lid.
* DO NOT touch plate/pot and base body when cooking. **

- After finished cooking, push the switch to the “OFF” position. Unplug the appliance. Let the base cool down.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance. Let it cool down as well as its used accessories before taking them off.
- Do not immerse the device, power cord or plug in water or any other liquids.
Cleaning outside surface
- Allow surface to dry fully before use.
- DO NOT wash it under a tap. DO NOT use metal scourers or scouring powder.
- Clean the outer surface of the device with a slightly damp cloth after each use, to avoid the accumulation of grease and the formation of unpleasant odors. Wipe with a dry, lint free cloth.
Cleaning the removable plates, deep pot and lid.
- The 2 removable plates and deep pot are not dishwasher safe. Wah with a soft sponge soaked with dishwashing liquid.
- DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean plates, pot, and lid, as they may cause scratches on the coating.
- DO NOT clean the plate/ pot by high temperature water.
- Wipe the accessories thoroughly to dry them.
Store appliance indoors, in a dry and safe place, away from sunlight, humidity and rain.
