SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Only intended for outdoor use.
• The electrical installation must comply with local regulations. Consult an authorised electrician if in doubt.
• Always follow the electrical specifications on the product labelling.
• Always disconnect the power supply before installation, connection and service.
• Never modify the product, this could result in serious personal injury and/or material damage, and will invalidate the warranty.
• The product must be connected to an earthed power supply on installation.
• Do not use the product without the glass cover.
• The product gets very hot when it is switched on. Do not touch the product with bare hands.
• Switch off and allow the product to cool before replacing the light source.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
New installations and extensions to existing systems should always be carried out by an authorised electrician. If you have the necessary experience and knowledge
(otherwise contact an electrician), you can replace power switches and wall sockets, fit plugs, extension cords and light sockets. Incorrect installation can result in fatal injury and the risk of fire.

INSTALLATION

NOTE:

• Switch off the power supply before installation.
• The light is for wall mounting.

1. Switch off the power supply.
2.  Pull the power supply wires through the safety ring in the base of the product.
3.  Insert the wires in the supplied sleeves. Make sure the sleeves completely cover the wires to the bulb socket, from the safety ring to the safety plate on the socket.
4.  Correctly connect all the wires.
   • Black or brown – live wire (L)
   • Yellow/green (earth)
   • Blue – neutral wire (N)
5.  Mount the base in the required place with expander screws.
6.  Insert a light source with the maximum output specified for the product.
7.  Fit the glass cover.

MAINTENANCE

NOTE:
Switch off the power supply before installation.

1.  Switch off the power supply to the light.
2.  Wipe the light with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
3. Wait until the light is completely dry before switching the power supply on again.

NOTE: Do not use detergents, alcohol, solvents or the equivalent to clean.

REPLACING THE LIGHT SOURCE

NOTE: Switch off and allow the light source to cool before replacing.

1.  Switch off the power supply.
2.  Remove the glass cover.
3.  Carefully unscrew the cool light source.
4.  Carefully insert the new light source.
5.  Replace the glass cover before switching on the light source.
