SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read all warnings, safety instructions and other instructions carefully before installation, use and maintenance.
- Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in a risk of explosion, fire, death, serious personal injury and/ or material damage.
- Do not allow children to use the product. Children must be supervised when they are near the product.
- Do not move the product when in use. Allow all parts of the product to cool completely before moving and/or putting it away.
- The product must only be used for heating outdoors, in a well-ventilated area.
- Follow local and national regulations for outdoor heating.
- The product must not be used in a basement or below ground level.
- The product emits the odorless gas carbon monoxide when in use. Inhalation of carbon monoxide can lead to unconsciousness and death.
- Do not use the product near flammable materials.
- Close the valve on the gas cylinder after use.
- Do not make any modifications to the product.
- Always disconnect the gas cylinder before storing the product indoors. The gas cylinder should be stored outdoors.
- Only use propane or butane that complies with the specifications in the instructions.
- Do not put the gas cylinder under or near the product.
- Never use a flammable liquid to light the gas flame.
- Immediately turn off the gas supply in the gas cylinder in the event of leaking gas. Check all gas hoses for damage, leakage and/or incorrect connection. If it is not possible to stop the leakage, contact a service center or allow an authorized gas technician to check the product. Never do a leakage test with a naked flame.
- Never disconnect gas connections or hoses when the product is in use.
- Never leave the product unattended when it is in use.
- Do not lean over the product when lighting it.
- Check and clean the product regularly. Take care not to damage any components, such as burners or valves, when cleaning.
- Check all hoses at least once every year and every time the gas cylinder is replaced. Replace damaged hoses with new ones of the same quality and length as the original ones.
- The product should be checked every year by an authorized service center or another qualified person. Never attempt to service or repair the product yourself.
- Replace all hoses at least every other year. Follow national regulations concerning the replacement of hoses.
- Keep cables and hoses away from hot surfaces.
- Do not put the product on a stand, or table, etc.
- Do not use the product to burn solid material, such as charcoal, briquettes, leaves, paper, rubbish or wood.
- Do not use the product if any part of it has been immersed in water or any other liquid. If any part of the product or its controls has been immersed in water or any another liquid, it must be checked and where appropriate replaced by qualified personnel.
- Do not use the product when it is windy.
- Never use the product unless all guards and safety devices are installed.
- Only use the supplied regulator and hoses or components recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not sit on the product.
- Always look through the inspection hole before use to check that the hose is not worn or damaged. If the hose is worn, cracked or damaged it must be replaced before using the product again. The hose must only be replaced with a hose of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
- Remove the lava stones before use, and inspect the burner and its parts. Clean with a soft brush and cleaning solution when necessary. Inspect the area around the burner and remove any dirt and foreign material, such as cobwebs and insects etc. If the burner has visible signs of damage it must be replaced before using the product again.
- Place the hose so that there is no risk of tripping over it.
- Do not go between the product and the gas cylinder.
- Always wear safety gloves when moving the product.
- The minimum distance to flammable material is 183 cm from above, and 92 cm from all sides and the back.
- The minimum distance to the gas tube is 153 cm. WARN
- Parts of the product are hot during and after use — risk of burn injury. Do not touch hot parts with bare hands.
- The product has a naked flame. Always use suitable devices to protect children and persons with functional disorders.

INSTALLATION
- Open the pack and unpack all the parts.
- Make sure that the gas tap on the product is dosed.
- Remove the protective plastic on the supplied AAA battery.
- Remove the rubber cap on the electric ignitor and put the MA battery in the battery holder. Insert the battery with the positive terminal pointing towards the rubber cap.
- Screw on the rubber cap.
- Spread the lava stones in a uniform layer in the tray. Make sure that the burner is covered by the lava stones, but do not cover the ignition screen. The gas might not ignite if the Ignition screen Is covered by lava stones.
- Turn the control on the gas cylinder valve clockwise to turn off the gas from the cylinder.
- Screw the control in the gas cylinder valve by hand. Check that it is firmly tightened.
USE
IGNITION
- Always check the hose before use. Replace the hose if it is worn or damaged.
- Turn the control on the gas cylinder valve anticlockwise to open the gas. AG. 2
- Press in the electric igniter. Press in and turn at the same time the control dial anticlockwise to LOW. Keep the control dial pressed to light the burner.
- Release the electric igniter when the burner is lit. Keep the control dial pressed for another 45 seconds.
- If the burner does not light within a few seconds, press and turn the control dial to OFF. Wait 5 minutes and then try to light the product again according to the above instructions.
warning
Gas wiN flow out through the burner lithe valve is open and the burner has
not lit, and can ignite by mistake — risk of serious personal injury.
IMPORTANT:
- Note the height of the flame when the burner has lit.
- The flame should be yellow/blue and 5 to 25 cm high.
TURNING OFF
- Turn the control dial clockwise to OFF.
- Close the valve on the gas cylinder.
- Allow the product to cool for at least 30 minutes before handling.
- Store the product upright, in a cool and dry place and protected from debris and dirt, direct sunlight and the weather.
- When the product has completely cooled. Cover to protect the outside and prevent blockage of the air passages.
NOTE
Allow the product to completely cool before covering.
MAINTENANCE
LEAKAGE TESTING MIME
Carry out a leakage check at regular intervals. Carry out a leakage check
immediately if there is a smell of gas.
Never do a leakage test with a naked flame, and do not smoke.
- Check that the gas cylinder valve is closed
- Mix a solution of 1 part soap or detergent and 3 parts water.
- Use a spray bottle, brush or cloth to apply the solution on both regulator couplings and the gas tap and hose coupling on the product.
- Open the gas cylinder valve when applying the solution on the gas connections.
- Check for bubbles that indicate leakage at the places where the solution has been applied.
- Close the gas cylinder valve immediately if leakage is detected.
- Tighten all leaking connections and recheck for leakage before using the product again.
- If necessary, replace the seal (corresponding to EN 549, class B2) or other components (corresponding to EN 7514, lass I) to ensure tightness.

Never use the product in here Is a gas leak.
CLEANING

Clean the product with water and a mild detergent. Do not use flammable or corrosive detergents.

Make sure to keep the area around the burner dry when cleaning. If the gas regulator has been exposed to water or any other liquid it must be replaced. Do not use the product before the gas regulator has been replaced.

Keep the burner, the area around the gas cylinder, and the air passages clean.
-
The flow of air must not be obstructed. Keep the control panel, burners and air passages clean. A smell of gas, yellow tip of flame, or clicking from the bumer, are signs of blockage in the air passages.

Spiders and insects can nest in the burner or other openings, which can damage the product and make it dangerous to use. Clean the burner with a pipe cleaner or compressed air.

Remove any soot deposits with hot water and a mild detergent. Soot deposits can result in a fire risk.

Remove the lava stones from the tray when the burner and stones have completely cooled. Remove any dirt with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. Wipe clean with a soft doth and replace the lava stones.
NOTE : Air with a high content of salt, for example near the sea, results in more rapid corrosion. Check the product at regular intervals for corrosion and rectify any damage. Harsh outdoor conditions can result in stubborn stains, discoloring and corrosion damage. Do not use solvent or the equivalent on painted surfaces or plastic parts, this can damage the product. -
Some discoloration of the screen is normal after prolonged use.
REPLACING THE BATTERY’
- Check that the gas valves on the product and the gas cylinder are closed before replacing the battery. See instructions for inserting the battery. Contact the retailer for spare parts and accessories.
NOTE: Only use accessories and spare parts recommended by the
manufacturer. The use of other accessories and spare parts will invalidate the
warranty and can be dangerous.
STORAGE

- Close the valve on the gas cylinder.
- Disconnect the gas cylinder and store in a safe, well-ventilated place outdoors. Do not store the where the temperature can exceed 50°C.
- Store the product upright, in a cool and dry place and protected from debris and dirt, direct sunlight and the weather.
- Cover to protect the outside and prevent blockage of the air passages.
NOTE; Allow the product to completely cool before covering.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Cause | Action |

the valve, or replace with a new gas cylinder.
The injector is blocked.| Clean or replace.
Air in the gas circuit.| Vent the gas hose by pressing the control dial for up
to 1 minute, or until there is a smell of gas.
Low gas pressure.| Replace with a new gas cylinder.
The igniter does not work.| Light the burner with a match, replace the battery
in the igniter, or replace the igniter.
The burner lights, but goes out.| Accumulation of impurities around the
burner.| Clean the area around the burner.
Small flames or low flames all the way around the burner.| Blocked hole in the
flame spreader. Clean the burner.
The thermoelement does not work properly.| Replace the element.
Low gas pressure.| Replace with a new gas cylinder.
Small flame. NOTE: Do not use the product at
temperatures below 5°C.| Outdoor temperature over 5°C and gas cylinder less
than 25% full.| Replace with a new gas cylinder.
The gas hose is bent.| Straighten the gas hose and check for leakage.
The control dial is in position HIGH (large flame).| Turn the control dial to
OFF, allow the product to cool to room temperature, and check the burner and
openings for blockage.
Accumulation of soot.| Soot deposits on the burner.| Clean the burner.
Flashback (flame in burner).| The burner nozzle is blocked.| Switch off the
product. Close the gas cylinder valve. Wait 2 minutes and then repeat the
ignition process. Light the burner. If the problem persists, turn off the
product and contact the retailer.
Thick, black smoke.| The burner is blocked.| Turn the control dial to OFF,
allow the product to cool to room temperature, and check the burner and
openings for blockage.
