Introduction

1.1 Product Description
The product is a gas grill that is intended to cook food outdoors.

2.1 Safety definitions

2.2 Safety instructions for operation

Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there is a risk of death or injury.

  • Read and understand the instructions before you use the product.

  • Save these instructions and safety instructions for future reference.

  • Do not use the product for tasks other than its intended purpose.
    The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damage that is a result of improper use.

  • Read and understand the assembly instructions before you assemble the product.

  • Always have a BC type of fire extinguisher ready when you operate the product. Do not use water to extinguish fires.

  • Do not use the product as a heater.

  • Do not use the product indoors.

  • Only use the product in a well-ventilated area.

  • Do not lean over the product when you start the burners.

  • Do not use gas other than the type specified in the technical data.

  • Use protective grill gloves to prevent burn injury.

  • Use protective gloves when you assemble the product. Some parts have sharp edges.

  • Make sure that the product is on a stable and heat-resistant surface when you operate it.

  • Make sure that the product is at least 1.5 m away from flammable materials and vegetation when you use the product.

  • Keep flammable liquids and pressure containers away from the product.

  • Do not keep the gas cylinder under the grill.

  • Keep cables and hoses away from hot surfaces.

  • Make sure that there is no gas leakage. Turn off the gas at the gas immediately if there is gas leakage. Speak to an authorized service center or authorized gas technician if the gas leakage cannot be stopped.

  • Do a check of all hoses every time you replace the gas cylinder.

  • Do not disconnect a gas cylinder or hoses when the product is in operation.

  • Do not warm closed metal containers or glass containers.

  • Do not use alcohol, petrol, lighter fluid, or paraffin as a firefighter.

  • Do not spray flammable liquid on the product when it is in operation.

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Only use the handles on the product.

  • Do not move the product when it is in operation. Risk of burn injury.

  • Do not go away from the product when it is in operation.

  • Do not use the product if parts are missing. Contact the retailer of the product if parts are missing.

  • Do not use the product if it is damaged or defective.

  • Do not repair the product. A damaged or defective product must be repaired at an authorized service center. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damage that is a  result of unauthorized repairs.

  • Do not modify the product.

  • Do not let children play with the product.

  • Do not let children clean the product.

  • Keep children and pets away from the product.

  • Only use accessories and parts that are approved by the manufacturer of the product.

  • Close the valve on the gas cylinder after each operation.

  • Do not use water to control or extinguish the flames.

  • Let the product become cool before you clean it or do maintenance on it.

  • Let the product become cool before you put it in storage.

  • Keep the product in dry and closed storage, away from children, when the product is not in operation.

  • Empty and clean the drip tray regularly.

  • Clean the grease tray before each use.

  • Clean the product regularly.

Assembly

3.1 To assemble the product

  • Assemble the product on a level surface. (Figure 1-13)

Operation

4.1 To do before you use the product for the first time

  1. Remove all packaging and stickers.
    Warning! Risk of fire. Packaging and stickers are flammable. Make sure that all packaging is removed before you use the product.

  2. Connect a gas cylinder (not included) to the product. Refer to “4.2 To connect a gas cylinder to the product” on page 16.

4.2 To connect a gas cylinder to the product

Warning! Do not connect or replace gas cylinders near sources of heat or naked flames.
Warning! Do not smoke when you connect or replace gas cylinders.
Caution! If you keep the product outdoors, keep the regulators away from precipitation.

  1. Make sure that the gas cylinder complies with the applicable national regulations and the specifications in technical data. Refer to “9
    Technical data” on page 17.

  2. Put the product on a stable and level surface and make sure that the product is cool.

  3. Connect an applicable gas regulator (not included) to the valve on the gas cylinder (not included) and tighten it fully with a wrench.
    Warning! The regulator must comply with EN 16129 and applicable national regulations.

  4. Put the gas cylinder on the left side of the product, away from heat and hot surfaces.

  5. Connect the hose to the regulator on the gas cylinder.
    Note! The hose diameter must be 8-10 mm and must not be longer than 1.5 m.

  6. Connect the hose to the product (A). Make sure that the hose is not twisted or pinched when you connect it. (Figure 10)

  7. Connect the hose (B) to the valve for the side burner and to the control knob for the side burner.

  8. Examine all hoses and connections for damage and leakage before you use the product. Replace damaged or defective hoses.

Warning! Immediately close the gas valve on the gas cylinder if there is leakage.
Warning! Do not use a naked flame to check for leakage.

4.3 To use the product

Warning! Always have a BC type of fire extinguisher ready when you operate the product. Do not use water to extinguish fires.
Warning! If a grease fire develops, turn all control knobs to the “OFF” position, close the gas valve on the gas cylinder fully, and close the lid. Grease fires will not be extinguished If you just close the lid.
Caution! Do not use plastic or glass utensils with the product.
Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer of the product.

  1. Put the product on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface and press down the locks on the wheels.
    Warning! Always have a BC type of fire extinguisher ready when you operate the product. Do not use water to extinguish fires.

  2. Open the gas valve on the gas cylinder.

  3. Turn the control knobs to the required heat setting and cook the food.

  4. When you have finished cooking the food items, turn all control knobs to the “OFF” position and close the gas valve on the gas cylinder fully.
    Let the product become cool.

  5. Clean the product. Refer to “5.1 To clean the product” on page 16.

Maintenance

5.1 To clean the product

  • Clean the product regularly to prevent grease fires.
  • Turn the control knobs to the “HIGH” to burn off food scraps.

5.2 To do maintenance on the product
Warning! Let the product become cool before you do maintenance.

  • Let an authorized service center do a check of the product 1 time per year.

  • Do a check of all hoses at least 1 time per year and every time you replace the gas cylinder.
    Warning! Always replace damaged hoses with new hoses that have the same quality and length.

  • Replace all hoses every 2 years. Follow national regulations for the replacement of hoses.

Troubleshooting

Storage

Warning! Let the product become cool before you put the product in storage.

  • Put a protective cover over the product if you keep it outdoors.
  • For winter storage or long-term storage, keep the product protected from the weather.
  • Make sure that the storage complies with local regulations for the storage of gas cylinders.

Disposal

8.1 To discard the product

  • Make sure that you follow local regulations when you discard the product. Do not burn the product.
