USE WARNINGS

ENERGY WARNINGS

1. Refrigerating appliances might not operate consistently (may defrost contents of the freezer if the temperature becomes too warm) when situated for an extended period of time below the cold end of the range of temperatures for which the refrigerating appliance is designed.
2. Do not exceed the storage time recommended by the food manufacturers for any kind of food and particularly for commercially quick-frozen food in freezer compartments or cabinets;
3. Take precautions to prevent an undue rise in the temperature of the frozen food while defrosting the refrigerating appliance, such as wrapping the frozen food in several layers of newspaper.
4. A rise in the temperature of the frozen food during manual defrosting, maintenance or cleaning could shorten the life item.

DISPOSAL WARNINGS

Refrigerant and cyclopentane foaming material used by the appliance are flammable. Therefore, when the appliance is disposed of, it must be kept away from any fire source and be recovered by a special recovery company with the corresponding qualification to dispose of it in a manner that is both safe and will prevent damage to the environment or any other harm.
When the refrigerator is disposed of, disassemble the doors, and remove gasket of the doors and shelves; put the shelves in their proper place, so as to prevent children from becoming entrapped.

INSTALLATION

PLACEMENT

| ●        Before use, remove all packing materials, including bottom cushions, foam pads, and all tape on the inside and outside of the refrigerator.

●        Tear off the protective film on the doors and the refrigerator body.

| ●        Keep away from heat and avoid direct sunlight. Do not place the freezer in moist or damp places to prevent rust or a reduction in the insulating effect.

●        Do not directly spray or wash the refrigerator; do not put the refrigerator in a place where it will be splashed with water. This could impact the refrigerator’s electrical insulation properties.

|

●        Ensure the refrigerator is placed in a well- ventilated indoor place; the ground must be flat and sturdy (rotate left or right to adjust the wheel for leveling if unstable).

| ●        The top space of the refrigerator must be greater than 12 inches, and the refrigerator should be placed against a wall with a free distance of more than 4 inches to facilitate heat dissipation.

Precautions before installation:
Information in the Instruction Manual is only for reference. The physical product may differ. Before installing and adjusting accessories, ensure that the refrigerator is disconnected from power. Precautions must be taken to prevent the handle or other parts of the appliance from falling and causing personal injury.

LEVELING FEET

Adjusting procedures:

1. Turn the feet clockwise to raise the refrigerator.
2. Turn the feet counterclockwise to lower the refrigerator.
3. Adjust the right and left feet based on the procedures above to a horizontal level.

REVERSING DOOR INSTRUCTIONS

List of tools to be provided by the user

1. Remove all food from the inner door liner.
2. Fix the door by tapes.
3. Dismantle the upper hinge cover, screws, and upper hinge; remove the plastic screw caps from the other side.
4. Dismantle the door, the bottom hinge and adjustable foot, then assemble the bottom hinge and adjustable foot on the other side.
5. Remove refrigerating chamber door and dismantle bottom hinge and adjustable foot.
6. Exchange the installation position of bottom hinge and adjustable foot, then fix them respectively. Remove the hinge sleeve pipe of the refrigerating chamber door, and install it on the other side. Remove the hinge sleeve pipe of the freezing chamber door and install it on the other side.
7. Place refrigerating chamber door on bottom hinge then fix the middle hinge on left side and insert the caps on right side.
8. Place freezer chamber door on middle hinge, then fix the top hinge, top hinge cover on left side and insert caps on right side.

CHANGING INNER LIGHT BULB

1. Disconnect the power supply before replacing the light bulb.
2. First, hold and remove the light bulb cover.
3. Next, remove the old bulb by unscrewing it counterclockwise. Then replace with a new bulb (max 15W) by screwing it in clockwise. Make sure it is secured in the bulb holder tightly.
4. Reassemble the light cover and reconnect your fridge to the power supply.

STARTING YOUR FRIDGE

| ●        Before connecting the refrigerator to the power supply, allow the refrigerator to settle into place for half an hour.

●        Before putting any fresh or frozen foods, the refrigerator must have run for 2-3 hours or above 4 hours in summer when the ambient temperature is high.

| ●        Leave enough space for the doors and drawers to easily open and around for proper airflow.

ENERGY SAVING TIPS

• The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of direct sunlight.
• Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the appliance. Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly may lose quality or spoil.
• Be sure to wrap foods properly and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside the appliance.
• Appliance storage bin should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper towel. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient.
• Organize and label food to reduce the frequency and length of door openings. Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.

STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONS

PARTS LIST

Refrigerating chamber

• The refrigerating chamber is appropriate for storing fruits, vegetables, beverages, and other foods meant to be consumed in the short term. Suggested storage time in the refrigerator is 3 to 5 days.
• Cooked foods must not be put in the refrigerating chamber until cooled to room temperature. It is recommended to seal foods before placing them into the refrigerator.
• The shelves can be adjusted up or down for proper storage and ease of use.

Freezing chamber

• The low temperature freezing chamber may keep food fresh for a long time and it is mainly used to store frozen foods and ice.
• The freezing chamber is suitable for long term storage of meat, fish, and other foods.
• Please be noted food shall be consumed within the shelf time.
  Note: Storing too much food immediately after the initial connection to power may adversely affect the cooling effect of the refrigerator. Foods stored must not block the air outlet; otherwise, the cooling effect will also be adversely affected.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

(The picture above is for reference. The actual configuration will depend on the distributor)

• Turn the temperature control knob to MAX, and the internal temperature of the refrigerator will reduce.
• Turn the temperature control knob to MIN, and the internal temperature of the refrigerator will increase.
• The knob only represents the level of temperature, but it does not mean the specific temperature; the “OFF” setting means the unit will stop working.
• Recommended setting: “MED.”

NOTE: Please adjust between “MAX” and “MIN” during use.

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE RANGES

Extended temperate: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 50°F to 89.6°F (10°C to 32°C);
Temperate: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 60.8°F to 89.6°F (16°C to 32°C);
Subtropical: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 60.8°F to 100.4°F (16°C to 38°C);
Tropical: ‘this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 60.8°F to 109.4°F (16°C to 43°C);

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

• Dust behind the refrigerator and on the ground must be regularly cleaned to improve the cooling effect and energy savings.
• Check the door gasket regularly to make sure there is no debris. Clean the door gasket with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent.
• The interior of the refrigerator should be cleaned regularly to avoid odor. Please turn off the power before cleaning the interior; remove all foods, drinks, shelves, drawers, etc.
• Use a soft cloth or sponge with two tablespoons of baking soda and a quart of warm water to clean the inside of the refrigerator. Then rinse with water and wipe clean. After cleaning, open the door and let it dry naturally before turning on the power.
• For areas that are difficult to clean in the refrigerator (such as narrow sections, gaps or corners), it is recommended to wipe them regularly with a soft rag, soft brush, etc., and when necessary, combined with some auxiliary tools to ensure no contaminants or bacterial accumulation in these areas.
• Do not use soap, detergent, scrub powder, spray cleaner, etc., as these may cause odors in the interior of the refrigerator or contaminated food.
• Clean the bottle frame, shelves, and drawers with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent. Dry with a soft cloth or dry naturally.
• Wipe the outer surface of the refrigerator with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water, detergent, etc., and then wipe dry.
• Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpastes), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may damage the cooler surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents may deform or damage plastic parts.
• Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids during cleaning to prevent short circuits or damage electrical insulation after immersion.

Please unplug the refrigerator before defrosting and cleaning.

DEFROST

• Power off the refrigerator.
• Remove the food from the refrigerator and store it appropriately to prevent food from spoiling.
• Clear the drainpipe (use soft materials to prevent damage to the liner).
• Prepare the water containers for defrosting (Clean the compressor water draining tray to avoid overflowing). You can use ambient temperature for a natural defrost. You can also use an ice shovel to eliminate frost (use a plastic or wooden ice shovel to prevent damage to the components).
• You can also use hot water to speed up the defrost process, using a towel to dry up any water after defrosting.
• After defrosting, store the food back inside and turn the refrigerator back on.

DECOMISSIONING AND STORAGE

• Power failure: In the event of a power failure, even if it occurs during the summer, foods inside the appliance can be kept for several hours; during the power failure, try to avoid opening and closing the door as much as possible, and do not add any more food to the appliance.
• Long-time non-use: If storing for an extended period, the appliance must be unplugged and then cleaned; the doors should be left open to prevent odor.
• Moving: Before the refrigerator is moved, empty its contents; secure shelves, drawers, etc., with tape; tighten the leveling feet; and finally, close the doors and seal them shut. When moving the appliance, avoid an inclination of more than 45°, placing the appliance upside down or horizontally.
  note: The appliance must run continuously once it is started. Generally, the operation of the appliance must not be interrupted; otherwise, the service life may be impaired.

TROUBLESHOOTING

You may try to solve the following simple problems by yourself. If you need further assistance, please contact customer service.

Failed operation

| ·         Check whether the appliance is connected to power or whether the plug is in solid contact.

·         Check whether the voltage is too low.

·         Check whether there is a power failure or circuits have been tripped.

Odor

| ·         Odorous foods must be tightly wrapped.

·         Check whether there is any rotten food.

·         Clean the inside of the refrigerator.

Extended operation of the compressor

| ·         It is normal for the compressor of the refrigerator to run for longer than normal periods in the summer when the ambient temperature is high.

·         It is not advised to store too much food in the appliance at the same time Food must be cooled before being placed into the appliance.

·         The doors are being opened too frequently.

Light fails to turn on| ·         Check whether the refrigerator is connected to power supply and whether the light bulb is damaged.

·         If needed replace the light bulb.

Doors cannot be properly closed| ·         The door is blocked by food packages.

·         Too much food is inside the refrigerator.

·         The refrigerator is tilted.

Loud noises

| ·         Check whether the floor is leveled and whether the refrigerator is on a stable surface.

·         Buzz: The compressor may produce buzzes during operation, and the buzzes are loud particularly upon start or stop. This is normal.

·          Creak: Refrigerant flowing inside of the appliance

may produce creak, which is normal.

Door does not seal

| ·         Clean the door seal.

·         Heat the door seal and then cool it for restoration (or blow it with an electrical drier or use a hot towel for

heating).

Water pan overflows

| ·         There is too much food in the chamber or food stored contains too much water, resulting in heavy defrosting

·         The doors are not closed properly, resulting in frosting due to entry of air and increased water due to defrosting.

Over heat on sidewall

| ·         The refrigerator enclosure may emit heat during operation specially in summer, this is caused by the radiation of the condenser, and it is a normal

phenomenon.

Surface condensation| ·         Condensation on the exterior surface and door seals of the refrigerator is normal when the ambient humidity is

too high. Just wipe the condensate with a clean towel.

LIMITED MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This appliance is covered by a limited manufacturer’s warranty. For one year from the original date of purchase, the manufacturer will repair or replace any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials and workmanship, provided the appliance has been used under normal operating conditions as intended by the manufacturer.

Warranty Terms:
During the first year, any components of this appliance found to be defective due to materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced, at the manufacturer’s discretion, at no charge to the original purchaser. The purchaser will be responsible for any removal or transportation costs.

Warranty Exclusions:
The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by any of the following:

• Power failure
• Damage in transit or when moving the appliance
• Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective household wiring or inadequate fuses
• Accident, alteration, misuse or abuse of the appliance such as using non-approved accessories, inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating conditions (extreme temperatures)
• Use in commercial or industrial applications
• Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility or acts of God such as hurricanes, floods, etc.
• Use of force or damage caused by external influences
• Partially or completely dismantled appliances
• Excess wear and tear by the user

Obtaining Service:

When making a warranty claim, please have the original bill of purchase with the purchase date available. Once confirmed that your appliance is eligible for warranty service, all repairs will be performed by a NewAir™ authorized repair facility. The purchaser will be responsible for any removal or transportation costs. Replacement parts and/or units will be new, re- manufactured or refurbished and is subject to the manufacturer’s discretion.
