OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ELECTRIC HAND MIXER
Important! Read the user instructions carefully before use. Save them for

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Always take basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
- Read all the instructions carefully before use.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug is damaged. Take the appliance to an authorized service center to be checked, repaired, or adjusted.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
- Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid — the risk of electric shock. This can result in personal injury and/or material damage.
- Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep your hair, clothing, hands, jewelry, and other foreign objects away from moving parts.
- Keep the appliance under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.
- Do not put the appliance on, or near a hot stove, or in a hot oven.
- Never remove accessories when the appliance is running.
- Pull out the plug when the appliance is not in use, before replacing parts, and before cleaning.
- Never attempt to chop ice in the appliance, or mix hard, dry substances, this will make the blades blunt.
- Never use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Save these instructions.

- This appliance can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.
- Do not allow children to use the hand blender. Keep the appliance and power cord away from children.

ASSEMBLY
Wash the accessories before using for the first time. Switch off the electric whisk (position 0) and pull out the plug before assembly.

Align the hole underneath the electric whisk to the tap on the base and carefully press down. Check that it has locked properly in place.

Choose a suitable accessory. Whisks are used for liquid and eggs, etc. Dough hooks are used for dough.
NOTE:
The dough hook/whisk with cog should be placed in the fixture with the
symbol and the other dough hook/whisk in the other fixture. The dough
hooks/whisks only fit in the right way.
HAND BLENDER
WARNING I
Be careful, the blades are very sharp. Switch off the appliance and pull
out the plug before fitting/removing accessories.
- Hold the lid tilted up and screw on the hand blender anticlockwise. Remove the hand blender by unscrewing it clockwise. The lid closes automatically. The outfeed button does not remove the hand blender.
- Plug in the plug.
USE
-
Put the food to be processed in the bowl and put the bowl on the base.

Push down the electric whisk and press the power switch on the base. FIG. 5

Check that the speed control is switched off (position 0) and plug in the plug.

Turn the speed control to the required position to start the processing. There are S settings and the appliance can reach maximum speed at any time by pressing the turbo button.
WARNING!
Never poke utensils in the bowl while the appliance is running. -
Do not run the appliance for more than 10 minutes at a time. Allow it to cool before using it again. For best results when working the dough, run at low speed first and then at high speed.
Turn the bowl by hand for best results -
When you have finished working the dough, switch off the speed control (position 0) and pull out the plug.

If necessary, scrape off any food from the accessory with rubber, wooden or plastic scraper. 8. Hold the accessory with one hand and press the outfeed button with the other hand. Take out the accessory.
WARNING!
Switch off the appliance and pull out the plug before removing accessories.
HAND BLENDER
The appliance can be used separately as a hand blender, without the base.
Before using for the first time clean the hand blender in accordance with the
instructions for quick cleaning.
Do not run the appliance empty for more than 15 seconds. Do not run the
appliance at high speed for more than 1 minute. Allow it to cool for 1 minute
before using it again.
- Turn the speed control to mixing mode. Put the hand blender in the food and press the turbo button.
- Switch off the hand blender by releasing the turbo button.
MAINTENANCE
HAND BLENDER

Pull out the plug and remove the hand blender.

Clean the hand blender under running water. Do not use detergents or abrasive agents.

Leave the hand blender to stand, so that all the water runs out. The hand blender is dishwasher-safe.
NOTE
Do not immerse the hand blender in water, this can ruin the lubrication. -
Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.

Never immerse the appliance, the power cord, or the plug in water or any other liquid — the risk of electric shock.

Wipe thoroughly dry.
WARNING
Be careful, the blades are very sharp.
QUICK CLEANING
The accessories can be quickly cleaned by running them for a few seconds in a bowl with a little water.
