AQ30 Indoor Air Quality Monitor

The AQ30 Indoor Air Quality Monitor is a stable and advanced device used to measure indoor air quality, including CO2, temperature, and humidity. The device features a high-accuracy sensor that alerts users when pre-programmed maximum values are exceeded, indicating the need for ventilation. The AQ30 is designed for use in indoor environments such as homes, offices, schools, meeting rooms, and other general spaces. The AQ30 features several buttons and functions, including:

Product Usage Instructions

AQ30 Indoor Air Quality Monitor

To set up the AQ30 Indoor Air Quality Monitor:

  1. Remove the device and its components from the packaging.
  2. Insert the power adapter into an electrical outlet and connect it to the AQ30 using the micro USB cable.
  3. Place the AQ30 on a flat surface or mount it on a wall using the provided stand or adhesive sticker.
  4. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn on the device.
  5. Use the menu button to switch between CO2, temperature/humidity, and time/date settings. Use the up/down button to adjust values in setup mode.
  6. If CO2 levels exceed the pre-set threshold, the device will emit a visual alarm indicating the need for ventilation. Press the alarm mute button to deactivate the alarm.

To properly maintain the AQ30 Indoor Air Quality Monitor:

  • Ensure that the device’s air inlet is clear of obstructions to ensure accurate readings.
  • If the device displays an error message or fails to respond, contact the dealer for assistance.
  • Do not dispose of the device or its battery in normal household waste. Instead, recycle the device at a designated electronic waste collection point.

Buttons & Functions

  1. Toggle through the menus CO2, Temperature/Humidity and Time/Date.
  2. In setup mode, reduces the current value.
  3. Toggle through the menus CO2, Temperature/Humidity and Time/Date.
  4. In setup mode, increases the current value.
  5. Deactivate the alarm sound.
  6. In setup mode, go back to previous menu, exit setup mode.
  7. Turn the device on or off (press & hold 5 sec ).
  8. Turn off the display (short press).
  9. together with for 2 seconds to enter setup mode.
  10. In setup mode, short press to save the settings

AQ30 introduction

The stable indoor air quality monitor (AQ30) is used for measuring the indoor air quality. Including CO2, temperature and humidity. The advanced AQ30 sensor measures and detecs with high stability and accuracy. When the preprogrammed (and programmable) maximum values are surpassed the AQ30 will sound an alarm both audibel and visually. In which case itis important to immediately ventilate and air the room. The AQ30 is only applicable in indoor environments like residents, offices, schools, meeting rooms and other public places

Tips
Carefully read the below instructions and warnings before use

  1. Do not place the AQ30 in direct sunlight
  2. During initial use, place the AQ30 in a well-ventilated room. This allows the AQ30 to calibrate itself. Calibration can take up to 4 days.
  3. Use only the supplied power adapter.
  4. Charge the battery a full 24 hours before first use.
  5. Do not cover the device or air intake while the product is in use.
  6. Do not submerge the device in water or other liquids.
  7. Do not place any foreign objects in the air intake of the AQ30.
  8. The internal Lithium battery is a backup battery only. It works for 6 hours. It may only be replaced or removed by a specialist.Always use the included AC power cable and adapter to power the AQ30.
  9. Do not use the AQ30 after the device has been dropped, punctured or in any other way damaged. Do not use the AQ30 if the power cable or power adaper have been damaged.
  10. The AQ30 does not contain parts that can be changed / replaced by the user.

Wall installation

  1. If you mount the monitor on the wall, preferably at breahting height, not in a ridge, corner of a room or on a ceiling. Place it 60 cm from surrounding walls and ceilings.
  2. Use the wall mount sticker to position the drilling holes in the desired location.
  3. Drill 2 holes with a Φ5mm drill bit.
  4. Push the included pluggs in the holes.
  5. Screw the included screws in the plugs until they stick out about 5mmAlecto-AQ30-CO2-Monitor-FIG- \(9\)
  6. Place the AQ30 in place by positioning the screws in slots on the backside and gently pushing the AQ30 downwards to the fixed position

Standing installation

  1. Place the bracket tips in the slots on the backside of the AQ30. Make sure the bracket foot points down.
  2. Press the bracket upwards with even force until the bracket pins click into position.

Setup menu’s

  1. Through the various setup menu’s the date, time, minimum and maximum values can be set. Crossing the maximum CO2 value will trigger the visual and an alarm will sound for 30 sec. When the maximum value is exceeded the alarm will go off.
  2. Press and hold both and buttons for 2 seconds. As soon as the icon appears the device is in setup mode.
  3. Switch through the different setup menus using + and – . Press to modify the menu values

CO2 display setup

  1. Set MAX/MIN CO2 value: if MAX is flashing, press + and – to set the MAX value. If MIN is flashing, press + and – to set the MIN value.
  2. Press shortly to save the set values.
  3. Press shortly to toggle between MAX and MIN values. Press 2x to exit the setup mode

Temperature screen setup

  1. Set MAX/MIN temperature value: if MAX is flashing, press + and – to set the MAX value. If MIN is flashing, press + and – to set the MIN value.
  2. Press shortly to save the set values.
  3. Press shortly to toggle between MAX and MIN values. Press 2x to exit the setup mode.
  4. In case of an alarm, only a visual alarm wil be given. There will be no sound

Humidity screen setup

  1. Set MAX/MIN humidity value: if MAX is flashing, press + and – to set the MAX value. If MIN is flashing, press + and – to set the MIN value.
  2. Press shortly to save the set values.
  3. Press shortly to toggle between MAX and MIN values. Press 2x to exit the setup mode.
  4. In case of an alarm, only a visual alarm wil be given. There will be no sound

Setting the time and date

  1. Press to toggle between hour, minute, day and month.
  2. Use the + and – buttons to set the value.
  3. Press 2x to confirm the date and time and exit the setup mode3

Do not disturb mode (Silent alarm)

  1. Press the key to toggle between the start time and end time of the don’t disturb mode
  2. Press + and – to set the time.
  3. Press 2x to confirm the time and exit the setup mode.
  4. In case of an alarm, only a visual alarm wil begiven. There will be no sound

Fault Troubleshooting

No display

| Check that the power supply is plugged correctly in the socket and the AQ30
Charge the battery for 24 hours.

Slow response

| Make sure the air intake is not blocked and clean.
The AQ30 displays “Err.| Contact the dealer

ENVIRONMENT:
Do not dispose of spent batteries but return them to your local depot for Small Chemical Waste (MSW). At the end of the product’s life cycle, do not dispose of this product in normal household waste, but take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment
