SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • For household use only.

  • Do not use the appliance outdoors.

  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

  • Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid – the risk of electric shock.

  • Pull out the plug when the appliance is not in use, before replacing parts, and before cleaning.

  • Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power cord or plug is damaged.
    Take the appliance to an authorized service center to be checked, repaired, or adjusted.

  • Do not use accessories other than those recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer. The use of other accessories can result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.

  • Place the appliance on a stable, level surface. Do not put the appliance on, or near a hot stove, or in a hot oven.

  • Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop.

  • Keep the appliance under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children.

  • Never use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.

  • The appliance is intended for squeezing citrus fruit. Do not attempt to squeeze other types of fruit into the appliance.

  • This appliance can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.

  • Never touch both pins on the plug at the same time when turning the axle on the appliance by hand – the risk of electric shock.

USE

Before using it for the first time
Wash the top, squeezer cone, strainer, and beaker in hot water.
USE

  1. Put the beaker on the motor unit and put the strainer and squeezer cone on the motor axle.

  2. Divide the fruit into halves and press one half lightly against the squeezer cone. The motor starts.

  3. The fruit juice runs through the strainer into the beaker, while the pulp and pips stay in the strainer. The motor can rotate clockwise or anticlockwise.
    UWAGA!
    • Do not press too hard on the squeezer cone, this can damage the motor.

  4. After you have finished squeezing, take your hand away from the squeezer cone to stop the motor. The appliance is on standby and starts again when the squeezer cone is pressed down.
    • After running the appliance for 15 s allow it to rest for 15 s. After 10 cycles allow the appliance to cool for 30 minutes. The beaker holds 0.5 I.

  5. Pull out the plug when you have finished.
    Place the power cord under the appliance to simplify storage.
    • Use the lid if you leave the juice in the beaker. Do not leave juice in the beaker for a long time.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the plug and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.

  2. Clean the lid, strainer, squeezer cone, and beaker in hot water and washing-up liquid. Rinse under running water and wipe dry.
    • Do not use abrasive utensils or detergents. Do not wash the parts in a dishwasher.

  3. Wipe the axle with a soft, damp cloth.
    Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.

  4. Store the appliance with all the parts in place.
