The 3/4″ comb leaves hair approximately 3/4″.
The 5/8″ comb leaves hair approximately 5/8″.

Clipping Tips -
Clip with the growth of the hair. Otherwise, you will create harsh and uneven lines. Move your clipper property by using slow and gentle strokes. Avoid ◄ applying downward pressure to the clippers, as this is likely to cause damage to your pet’s skin.
-
Generally, it is recommended to start clipping from the most challenging areas. Because your pet will tend to become more impatient as time progresses. Typically, the head, paws, underarms, stomach, and bottom are more difficult to clip. The neck, back, and chest are easier. The order can be adjusted accordingly. If your pet is already very nervous at the beginning, you can start from easier areas-for example, the back of the neck-to allow your pet to adapt. Unless your pet is completely still, it is not recommended to use the clipper on your pet’s face, especially around the eyes. Instead, you can use scissors for fine trimming.
-
Paws easily pick up sand and dirt Before you trim the hair on your pet’s paws, make sure that the hair has been thoroughly cleaned, otherwise it may damage the blades and cause safety hazards. Please refer to the Before You Clip section on page 14. Keeping the hair on your pet’s paws short will help reduce
the risk of mats building up between their pads which causes painful walks and even injuries. Keep in mind that paws are very sensitive for dogs and cats. Go slow and gentle to give your pet time to adjust. Use the clipper to shave the hair on top of the paws and then carefully trim between the toes. While clipping, check your pet’s paws for any signs of injury. For better grooming results, pair up with the DogCare Nail Grinder. Please visit Dog Care’s Amazon store or
www.dogcare.net for more information.
-
To trim the underarms, make sure your pet is still and lift his or her leg with a gentle motion. Clip with the growth of the hair-from the armpit to the leg.
The skin in the underarm area is very delicate and sensitive. Keep an eye on the blade temperature monitoring ion on the screen while clipping. If the temperature gets too high, take a break to cool down the blades—-please refer to the Blade Maintenance section on page 18.
-
Clip the hair on your pet’s stomach to help your pet maintain hygiene when going to the bathroom. Make sure your pet is still and lift his or her leg with a gentle motion. Clip with the growth of the hair, using almost no pressure against the skin. Be careful not to nick the nlpples and genital area. The skin on the stomach is very delicate and sensitive. Keep an eye on the blade temperature monitoring icon on the screen while clipping. If the temperature gets too high, take a break to 0001 down the blades—-please refer to the Blade Maintenance section on page 18.
-
