- Read and understand the instructions before you use the product.

- Do not use the product for tasks other than its intended purpose. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damage that is a result of improper use.

- Park the vehicle on a level surface before you install the product.
- Make sure that the parking brake in the vehicle is engaged before you install the product.
- Do not put loads that exceed the maximum permitted load on the product.
- Make sure that you distribute the load evenly when you put load on the product. Do not put all the load to the left side or right side.
- Make sure that the product is fully installed before you put load on the product or operate the vehicle it is installed on. There is a risk of injury and damage to other people and vehicles if the product comes loose when you are in traffic.
- Do not open the sunroof on the vehicle when the product is installed.
- Remove the product from the vehicle before you wash the car in an automatic carwash.
- Examine the product for wear and damage after each operation.
- Do a check of the installation after each operation.
- Avoid sharp braking, sharp acceleration and sharp turns.
- Be extra careful when you use the product in windy conditions.
- Be extra careful when you use the product on roads that are uneven.
- Be aware that the product increases the total height of the vehicle it is installed on.
- Clean the product regularly.
Installation
To assemble the product
- Remove all packaging.
- Unlock and remove the outer protective cover (A). (Figure 2)
- Pull up the inner protective cover (B).
- Make sure that the cylindrical part of the lock knob (C) points upwards. (Figure 3)
- Make sure that the protective plate (D) is installed to the roof rack bracket.
- Install the roof rack tube in the roof rack bracket and install the end cap to the roof rack tube. (Figure 4)
- Do a check of the assembled product. (Figure 5)
To install and remove the product

Make sure that the product is assembled correctly. Refer to “3.1 To assemble the product” on page 12.

Put the product on the roof rails of the vehicle and move the pressure plate until it is between the roof and roof rail on the vehicle. (Figure 6)
Caution! Make sure that the protective plate is attached straight to the roof rails on the vehicle. -
Make sure that the outer eye bolt (A) is on the outside of the roof rails. (Figure 7)

Push in the pressure plate until the inner eye bolt is in the cutout in the pressure plate. (Figure 8)
Note! Make sure that the pressure plate is above the nut on the inner eye bolt. -
Adjust the position of the product until the roof rack tubes are centered (B) and 600 mm (C) away from each other. (Figure 9)

Turn the nut (D) and the lock knob (E) until the pressure plate and the roof rack tube are parallel. Tighten the nut and the lock knob fully. (Figure 10–11)

Make sure that the lock knob is in the correct position when you have tightened it. (Figure 12)

Push down the inner protective cover (F) and install the outer protective cover (G). (Figure 13)

Lock the outer protective cover with the key. (Figure 14)

Pull on the product to make sure that it is fully installed to the roof rails on the vehicle. Tighten the lock knob and the nut if it is necessary.

Remove the product in the opposite sequence.
Operation
To use the product
● Make sure that the load is centered on the roof of the vehicle. (Figure
15-16)
Maintenance
To clean the product
- Caution! Do not use solvents or caustic solutions to clean the product.
- Clean the product with water and wipe the product with a clean cloth until it is dry.
Storage
Keep the product in its storage case in a dry environment.
Disposal
To discard the product
Make sure that you follow local regulations when you discard the product. Do
not burn the product.
