This styler is equipped with an automatic shut-off. This safety feature turns the unit off after 60 minutes, in case you accidentally leave it on after styling your hair.

HOW TO USE

Styler settings

Take extra care when using a professional styler. To prevent hair damage, make sure to use the correct settings for your hair type.

Wet/Dry Setting

This styler can be used on wet or dry hair. When the light is red, it is safe to use on dry hair. When the light is green, it is safe to use on damp/wet hair.

USAGE TIPS

NOTE: please see the “Wet/Dry setting” chapter above. This device is intended for household use. Use on Alternating current only. This unit is designed to be operated at 110-240 volts AC.

TO CURL HAIR

  1. Gently towel fry hair to remove excess water. Avoid rubbing hair with a towel, a this creates split ends and frizziness. Detangle hair with a wide-toothed comb.

  2. Plug the styler into an electrical outlet. Push the on/off switch to turn the styler on. The indicator light will begin to glow.

  3. Adjust the temperature using the dial.

  4. Divide hair into manageable sections and clip the upper layers on top of your head and out of the way. Work with the underneath layers first.

  5. Test the styler on a small section of hair, and then adjust the temperature up or down before styling the rest of your hair.
NOTE : if you find that you need a higher temperature setting while styling your hair, simply adjust the dial to a higher number. While styling your hair, if you find that you need a lower temperature, adjust the dial to a lower heating setting.

  6. Take a small section of hair and comb through it with a fine-toothed comb. Pull hair down and away from your scalp, and hold it taut.

  7. Hold the styler with the steam vents facing away from your scalp. Starting at the roots, clamp hair firmly between the plates and run the styler down the entire hair strand, from root to tip, in one smooth stroke. Do not hold it in one area for a long period of time or damage to hair may occur.

  8. To speed up drying at the roots, you may wish to run the styler over the first few inches of hair nearest the root several times. Repeatedly rin the unit smoothly down the entire stand until hair is fully dried. (Note: The unit may make a steaming/hissing noise when used on damp hair. This is okay!  The unique design of this styler will channel the moisture away from hair and out the steam vents)

  9. Repeat with all sections of your hair. Working with the underneath layers first, then the top and side, until you achieve the hairstyle you desire.

  10. When you are finished the styling, press the on/off button to turn the unit off, unplug it, and allow it to cool before storing.
