INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ChromaDim™ 4” 10W Down Light
BEFORE YOU START:
- Please check local electrical codes before beginning
- Turn the power off before installing
- Make sure to use proper rated wire
RECESSED INSTALLATION:
NOTE: WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU ENGAGE A QUALIFIED AND LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
ALL SYSTEM PARTS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH AND ONLY WORK TOGETHER. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
SWAP OUT OTHER MANUFACTURERS’ PRODUCTS. ENSURE THAT BOTH THE WALL SWITCH AND
LED DRIVER IS GROUNDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEC OR LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODES.
DO NOT INSTALL IN AN APPLICATION THAT IS OUTSIDE OF THE PRODUCTS LISTED
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AND IN AN AREA THAT IS NOT EASILY ACCESSED FOR SERVICE
REQUIREMENTS. DOWNLIGHT IS IC RATED.
MOUNT AND CONNECT CHROMADIM DRIVER AND WALL CONTROLLER PER INSTRUCTIONS THAT
COME WITH THAT UNIT.

Familiarize yourself with the downlight fixture. The Chroma Dim Down Light comes with both wire leads and quickly connects. Unused leads or quick connects can be tucked away in the junction box.(Fig. 1)

Determine the position of your downlight(s) and trace a 5-1/2” diameter circle on the surface material. Using a keyhole saw or 5-1/2” hole saw – cut through the surface (Fig. 2).

For the first downlight in your run, attach White, Red, and Green leads from ChromaDim Driver to the White, Red, and Green leads coming from the first downlight in your run (Fig. 3) or using the Wago connectors supplied, and compress springs to push up into the ceiling hole. Check for a firm fit (Fig. 4).

For additional downlights, use quick connects to add more fixtures to your run (Fig. 4).
MULTIPLE DOWN LIGHT INSTALLATION DIAGRAM: -
You can install as many as 5 10W ChromaDim Down Lights on one lead. In order to do this, first layout your run, giving ample distance between downlights, and install per directions. Follow the diagram below (Fig. 5).
