Before You Begin

  • Read instructions thoroughly prior to assembly.
    • This kit contains parts that can be damaged if assembled incorrectly or in the wrong sequence.
  • Please follow instructions
    • Suncast is not responsible for replacing parts lost or damaged due to incorrect assembly.
  • Check for all parts before you begin assembly.
    • Using the provided parts check list, verify that you have all the parts required to construct your cabinets.
  • Assistance is required during parts of the assembly

Care Instructions

To maintain the look of your product, we recommend cleaning it each year with mild soap and water. DO NOT use bleach, ammonia, or other caustic cleaners, and DO NOT use stiff bristle brushes. Failure to perform annual cleaning could result in permanent staining of the plastic. This is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty. This product is not recommended for outdoor usage.

Pre-assembly

Pre-assembly
Before you begin, separate the drawer glides into two parts, the wide base and the narrow glide. Repeat for all six glides.

Use 4mm Hex Key (N) to thread three insert nuts (S) into left side panel (C). Repeat for right side panel (B).

Lay drawer box panel (K) flat with grooved side facing up. Thread six
insert nuts (S) into the drawer box sides.
Pre-assembly

Attach one drawer glide base (X) to the left side panel with three screws (T). Repeat on right side panel (B).
Note: The rubber bumper-stops go toward the back of the cabinet. To access screw locations, line them up with the slot in the moving part.

Lower the back of the drawer box to the floor. Fold the left side up, followed by the right side. Press the back of the drawer against the floor, folding it over the corner tabs. The tabs must be securely snapped through the back corner slots.
Pre-assembly

Slide the drawer front (J) down over the tabs on the front edge of the drawer box (K). Press down until the panel snaps in place.

Turn the drawer box over and secure the drawer front with three screws (AA). Note: the screw locations are not pre-drilled.

Starting with the front screws, attach the narrow portions of the drawer glides (X) to each side of the drawer using 6 screws (T).
NOTE: The plastic catch is always toward the back.

Insert drawer handle (M) into drawer front (J) by catching the top edge on the opening and rotating the botton edge until it snaps into position.

Assembly

Make sure all tabs are engaged before locking panels together

Align tabs on left side panel (C) with slots on bottom panel (A). Lower
side panel into slots and lock in place by sliding panel towards front. Repeat with right side panel (B).

Align and engage tabs on back panel (D) with slots on side panels (C/B). Push panel (D) down to lock in place.

Attach support bracket (P) to top panel (E) using four screws (AA).

Align slots on top panel (E) with tabs on side panel (C/B). Lower
top panel and lock in place by sliding panel towards front. Top will overhang front slightly.
Assembly

Base Cabinets must be securely attached to a wall in order to prevent tipping

Using a 1/2˝ drill bit, drill through the two provided locations on Back Panel (D). Place cabinet in desired location. With a pencil mark the hole locations on the wall, and drill through the wall with 1/2˝ drill bit.

Add Washer (M) to Toggle Bolt (N). Close toggle bolt before putting through 1/2˝ hole or it will not fit. Wings on toggle bolt need to be positioned toward the end of the bolt. While holding cabinet in place, put toggle bolt through drilled holes in cabinet and wall. Tighten screws to secure to wall.

Attach support bracket (P) to middle shelf (F) using four screws (AA).

Attach support bracket (P) to bottom shelf (L) using four screws (AA).
Assembly

Insert shelf (L) with the hinge holes facing up into cabinet at an angle. Low.
Assembly

Tab on shelf must engage with slot on inside panels. Push side panels inward to engage.

Tilt shelf (L) forward and place front corners of shelf into indented area on side panels. Push down on back of shelf to snap into position.
Assembly

Insert shelf (F) into cabinet at an angle. Lower shelf down onto support ribs.
Assembly

Tab on shelf must engage with slot on inside panels. Push side panels inward to engage.

Tilt shelf (F) forward and place front corners of shelf into indented area on side panels. Push down on back of shelf to snap into position.

Insert drawer handle (M) into right door (G) by catching the inside edge on the opening and rotating the outside edge until it snaps into position.
Repeat for left loor, (H).
Assembly

Install right door (G) by inserting bottom hinge pin into shelf (L) and
sliding top hinge pin into position in top panel (E). Repeat for left door (H).

Install bottom drawer by fitting the drawer mounted glides into the side panel mounted glides.

SUNCAST® Storage Cabinet Five Year Limited Warranty
Your SUNCAST® Storage Cabinet has a FIVE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY against product failure resulting from defects in manufacturing or materials.
The warranty period starts on the delivery date. Incidental and consequential damages are not covered.

SUNCAST® will repair or replace only the parts that failed under the terms of the warranty. In some cases, the replacement parts may not be identical, but they shall be of equal or greater performance than the original part.

We may require proof of purchase. Proof of purchase may be the original dated store receipt. We may require evidence of the failure. Evidence of failure may include photographs or returning failed components to SUNCAST.®

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
THIS WARRANTY COVERS ONLY DEFECTS THAT AFFECT THE FORM, FIT OR FUNCTION OF THE UNIT. It excludes natural aging of the unit, discoloration, ordinary wear and tear, ordinary weathering, sunlight fading, or rust. It excludes staining caused by mold, mildew or tree sap and damage caused by animals including insects, vermin or household pets. The warranty does not cover damage caused by Acts of Nature including but not limited to: wind in excess of 65 mph; tornado; hurricane; microburst; hail; flood; blizzard; extreme heat; pollution or fire events. The warranty does not cover damage caused by Sun energy reflected from “Low-E” windows or other reflective materials. The user is responsible for protecting the product from damage in this situation.

The following actions void the warranty: improper assembly; assembly on a foundation other than as described in the assembly instructions; use above intended and reasonable capacity; misuse; abuse; failure to perform ordinary maintenance; modification; cleaning with abrasive tools, exposing the unit to heat sources and vandalism. Painting, sandblasting, cleaning with harsh chemicals not recommended for plastics voids the warranty on resin components. Modification of the original product voids all warranties. Suncast assumes no liability for any modified product or consequences resulting from failure of a modified product. Damage due to moving, transporting,or relocating the product voids the warranty.
Disassembly of this unit for reasons other than authorized repair voids the warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS NONTRANSFERABLE. IT IS VALID FOR NORMAL HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. THE WARRANTY IS VOIDED BY COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL USE. IT EXCLUDES FLOOR MODELS, CLEARANCE AND OPEN BOX UNITS.

Suncast® does not represent that this unit will meet city, county, state, homeowner’s association standards or zoning requirements. The owner is responsible for securing all permits and meeting other requirements needed for placement, construction and use.

THE MANUFACTURER’S LIABILITY HEREUNDER IS LIMITED SOLELY TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR PART AND THE MANUFACTURER SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY RESULT FROM ANY DEFECT IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP OR FROM THE BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; the limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
