Product Information
The Thuren Fabrication Height Shim Kit (HSK) is a product designed for trucks.
It is used to adjust the height of the vehicle by adding or removing spacer
plates and a black top plate.
Applicable Trucks
This kit is compatible with various trucks. Please refer to the A list of
compatible trucks is provided in the user manual.
Important Note
Prior to installation, it is necessary to remove the rear coils of the truck.

Product Usage Instructions
Installation
Begin by removing the rear coils of the truck following the instructions
provided in our Tech Data section. Once the coils are removed, proceed with
the installation of the Height Shim Kit (HSK).
Warning
Ensure that you select the appropriate height option for your desired
adjustment:
- Minimum Height Option: One Spacer Plate and the Black Top Plate. Use the shorter bolts for this option.
- Maximum Height Option: Three Spacer Plates and the Black Top Plate.
- Select the desired height option and align the spacer plates accordingly.
- Place the black top plate on top of the spacer plates.
- Secure the assembly using the provided bolts. Use the shorter bolts for the minimum height option and longer bolts for the maximum height option.
- Double-check that all components are securely fastened.
- Repeat the installation process for the other side of the truck.
- After installation, ensure that the height adjustment is even on both sides of the truck.
- Test the vehicle to ensure proper functionality and adjust as needed.
- Regularly inspect the Height Shim Kit (HSK) for any signs of wear or damage and perform maintenance as necessary.

Note
This kit will require the removal of the rear coils for installation. View our instructions for Rear Coil removal in our Tech Data section at www.thurenfabrication.com
Installation
- Determine how many spacers you want to install. 1 = 5/8” lift, 2 = 1” lift, or 3 = 1-3/8” lift.
- Once the Rear Coils are removed, the Coil Spacer will bolt onto the Axle Seat where the Coil Previously sat.
- The supplied Black Top Plate will go on top of the Aluminum Spacer Plates and replicate the OEM mounting surface for your coil.
- Torque Hardware to 25 Ft/Lbs
Warning
The minimum height option is one Spacer Plate and the Black Top Plate. Use the
shorter bolts if you choose this option. Maximum Height is 3 Spacer Plates and
Black Top Plate.
