The Thuren Fabrication XHD sway bar Links are designed to provide enhanced stability and control for trucks. These sway bar links are compatible with a variety of trucks.

Product Usage Instructions

Link Removal
Before removing the existing sway bar links, please ensure that the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off. Follow the steps below to remove the links

  1. Locate the sway bar links on your truck.
  2. Using a wrench or socket, loosen and remove the bolts or nuts that secure the sway bar links to the sway bar and suspension components.
  3. Gently pull the sway bar links away from the sway bar and suspension components to detach them.

Warning: Be cautious while removing the sway bar links as they may be under tension. Ensure that you have a firm grip and keep your hands and fingers clear of any moving parts.

Install Sway Bar Link
To install the Thuren Fabrication XHD sway bar link, follow these steps

  1. Take the new sway bar link and align it with the sway bar and suspension components.
  2. Insert the bolts or nuts through the holes in the sway bar link and tighten them using a wrench or socket.
  3. Make sure the sway bar link is securely attached to both the sway bar and suspension components.

Once the new sway bar link is properly installed, repeat the process for any additional sway bar links on your truck.

  • (TF-SWBL-PW-675IN) 2005-2013 Power Wagon 0”-3” Lift (6.75” Links)
  • (TF-SWBL-PW-925IN) 2005-2013 Power Wagon 4”-6” Lift (9.25” Links)

Link Removal

Disconnect OEM links from Sway Bar and Axle

warning

  • 2003-2005 trucks have a taper mount on the axle; drill the mount with a ½” drill bit.
  • This is not needed on 2006+ trucks.

Install Sway Bar Link

  • Install sway bar end links with the grease fittings pointed down and the wider flange of the metal sleeve inside the center ball flush against the axle, so the link is mostly vertical when put into position.
  • Torque hardware to 100 Ft/Lbs
  • Grease all 4 fittings
