Thuren Fabrication 2013 – 2022 High Clearance Sway Bar The Thuren Fabrication
High Clearance Sway Bar is designed for use in trucks from 2013 to 2022. It
provides enhanced clearance and improved performance for off-road
applications. The sway bar is compatible with the following truck models:

Product Usage Instructions
Remove Stock/Previous Sway Bar
Warning: Before proceeding, ensure that the vehicle is securely supported
on jack stands or a vehicle lift.
To remove the stock or previous sway bar, follow these steps:
- Locate the sway bar underneath the vehicle.
- Using appropriate tools, unbolt and remove any brackets or mounts securing the sway bar to the vehicle chassis.
- Once all brackets and mounts are removed, carefully slide out the stock or previous sway bar from its mounting positions.
Installing Sway Bar
Before installing the Thuren Fabrication High Clearance Sway Bar, ensure
that all necessary components are included and in good condition.
To install the sway bar, follow these steps
- Position the Thuren Fabrication High Clearance Sway Bar in the appropriate location underneath the vehicle.
- Align the sway bar with the mounting points on the vehicle chassis.
- Securely bolt the sway bar to the vehicle chassis using the provided hardware.
Install End Links
After installing the sway bar, it is necessary to install the end links to
complete the installation.
To install the end links, follow these steps:
- Attach one end of the end link to the sway bar using the provided hardware.
- Attach the other end of the end link to the axle mount on the vehicle using the provided hardware.
- Tighten all hardware securely to ensure proper attachment.

Remove Stock/Previous Sway Bar
- Disconnect Sway Bar Links from Axle and Sway Bar
- Remove hardware from the Sway Bar mount on the frame.
- Remove the Sway Bar from the truck
Warning
On this model Swaybar our swaybar links will mount on the inside/engine
side of both the bar and axle mounts.
Installing Sway Bar
- The swaybar will mount with the “THUREN” logo upright.
- Flex the Swaybar frame mount bushings to split them open, slip them over the bar, and then slide the stainless mounting bracket over the bushings.
- Place a Stainless plate between the frame and Sway Bar mounts
- Lift the Sway Bar into position and hand-tighten frame mount hardware
- Using the slots in the frame mounts, center the swaybar side to side between the frame rails. There is not much side-to-side clearance so pay attention here.
- The Urethane frame pivot bushings keep the swaybar from shifting side to side, but there should still be a small gap between the bar stops to allow 1/16″ of side-to-side play.
- Once everything is centered, the Torque frame mount hardware to 45 Ft/Lbs
Install End Links
- Ensure the Sway Bar End Links Sleeve Flange is against the Sway Bar and Axle mounting surface.
- Install Sway Bar End Links. Make sure you can access the grease fittings.
- Torque End Link mounting Hardware to 100 Ft/Lbs
