Product Usage Instructions

Thuren Fabrication parking Brake bracket

These instructions are applicable to the following Trucks:

• 2014-2018 2500/Power Wagon (Large Bracket)
• 2014-2023 2500/Power Wagon (Small Bracket)

• (TF-EBCBSMALL-14U) Small Parking Brake Cable Bracket (image 2)

INSTRUCTIONS

Large Parking Brake Bracket (image 1)

• Remove parking brake cable bracket from drivers side rear frame rail. Retain OEM Hardware.
• Install Large Thuren Parking Brake Bracket, match cut radius on top of bracket to cross member protruding from frame.
• If you are installing Piggy-Back Remote Reservior Shocks there will be a Small Parking Brake Bracket included that will attach to the lower passenger side rear control arm as pictured to hold the brake cable off of the shock body.
• Remove the hold down on the axle and re-use the bolt for the new bracket.

Small Parking Brake Bracket (image 2)

• Remove Bolt holding the wire type cable guide from the upper control arm.
• Pry open the wire loop with a flat tip screw driver or pair of channel locks and discard
• Using the OEM bolt, install the Small Thuren Parking Brake Bracket as shown (image 2)
• Holding the parking brake cable in place, use a small flat tip screw driver and pry the metal tab retainer up into place
