Operation Manual
INTRODUCTION TO SAFETY MATERIALS
The machine driver is responsible for the safe operation of the machine during its use. Elise900 is a high-performance loader suitable for a variety of terrain conditions so it is necessary to abide by all safety rules to prevent the possibility of injury or death. The machine provider is responsible for the proper training of all drivers. The duty of the provider is to explain all risks connected to the machine’s use and to ensure proper use. The provider is responsible for the demonstration of proper machine control with regard to the training materials (Manual for Machine Maintenance and Operation, Manual for Machine Operation), providing these to all drivers for study:
- Manual for Machine Maintenance and Operation includes all operating information and common maintenance and service procedures.
- Manual for Machine Operation includes all safety rules and elements necessary to be known and observed to avoid injury or death.
- The driver is obliged to familiarize themselves with these documents before using the machine and have them available at any time.
- The warnings in the Manuals, on the machine, or inside the machine (safety labels) are necessary to maintain the safety of the driver. Failure to observe or familiarize yourself with these warnings can lead to injury or death.
- The driver is obliged to familiarize themselves with safe loader operation.
- The driver must always wear protective equipment (protective clothes, protective shoes, protective helmet, protective glasses and protective gloves) according to the conditions, surroundings, and load.
- The driver must be physically and mentally fit to drive the loader safely.
OVERVIEW OF SAFETY LABELS
In case the safety labels are damaged, contact the manufacturer immediately with a request to supply new labels and then replace the labels immediately.
WARNING: SECURING ADDITIONAL DEVICE
PLACEMENT: HYDRAULIC ARMS| Ensure the proper connection of the additional
device.
Improper connection can lead to injury or death.|

WARNING: MOVEMENT NEAR THE LIFTER
PLACEMENT: LOWER PART OF HYDRAULIC ARM| The movement near the turned-on
lifter can lead to injury or death.
Do not move near the turned-on machine. Do not stand under the lifted arms,
nor on the lifting equipment.|
WARNING: OF UPSETTING, OVERTURNING, OR LOSS
OF VIEW
PLACEMENT: BACKSIDE OF HYDRAULIC ARMS TOWARDS THE DRIVER| Upsetting,
overturning, or loss of view from the machine can lead
to injury or death.
At first, always familiarize yourself with the environment in which you
will work.|
WARNING: PROPER LEAVING THE MACHINE CAB
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| Before you leave the machine it is necessary to:
- Lower the lift arms and place the device on the ground.
- Turn off the motor.
- Lift up the safety frame.
- Unfasten the safety belt.|
WARNING: FASTEN THE SAFETY SEATBELT
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| Failure to fasten the seatbelt can lead to injury or death.
Always ensure the seatbelt is fastened before you start operating
the machine.|
WARNING: ACCIDENTAL LOADER MOVEMENT
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| Accidental machine movement can lead to death.
Familiarize yourself with loader control – travel and hydraulics before you start working.|
WARNING: RISK OF PRESS
PLACEMENT: ON LIFTING ARMS| Do not get close to a loader while in operation.
Movement near the started loader can lead to injury or death.|
WARNING: DANGER OF FALLING
PLACEMENT: IN THE FRONT SIDE OF THE LOADER| Do not transport other persons.
Do not use the loader for lifting persons or as a work platform.|
WARNING: FLUID UNDER HIGH PRESSURE
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| Read the User Manual for Operation and Maintenance to prevent fluid leakage from the machine.
Leaking fluid that is under high can cause injury or death.|
WARNING: POSSIBLE BATTERY EXPLOSION
PLACEMENT: ON THE BATTERY COVER| When the battery is being charged, it may explode. Read the User Manual for Operation and Maintenance before handling the battery.
An explosion of the battery can cause injury or death.|
WARNING: READ ALL THE SUPPLIED MANUALS FOR
THE MACHINE OPERATION
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| Do not use the loader without reading the Manual for Maintenance
and Operation and Manual for Operation.
Ignorance of maintenance procedures and work with the loader can result in injury or death.|
WARNING: GETTING TRAPPED IN PARTS OF THE LOADER
PLACEMENT: IN THE FRONT SIDE OF THE LOADER| Do not touch the places where any part of the loader is moving.
When the loader is moving the limbs may get trapped in the loader which can lead to injury or death.|
WARNING: FALL ON A SLOPE
PLACEMENT: IN THE FRONT SIDE OF THE LOADER| Do not stand under the loader scoop or arm.
The moving loader can cause a fall or the possibility of getting stuck
under the lifting equipment of the loader which can result in serious
injury or death.|
WARNING: OVERTURNING THE MACHINE ON THE SLOPE
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| On the slopes, drive the heavy side of the loader towards the hill.
Driving with the arms lifted can cause the loss of stability and
overturning of the loader resulting in injury or death.|
WARNING: OVERTURNING THE MACHINE AS A RESULT OF IMPROPER OPERATION
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| Do not drive nor turn with the arms lifted.
Load, unload, and turn the machine on a straight surface.
Do not exceed the permitted operating capacity.|
WARNING: DANGER OF CRUSHING A BODY PART
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| When working on an unstable surface or in a hazardous environment, use the stand to secure the machine.
An unsecured machine can cause injury or death.|
WARNING: DANGER OF PARTS EJECTED INTO THE FACE
PLACEMENT: IN THE CAB| When working with the machine, the object may be thrown into the face of the machine operator.
Always check the work environment and wear protective clothing
(protective shield).
Not using protective equipment can result in injury or death.|
SUMMARY SAFETY RULES
Before the start of the operation, the operator must have all the necessary instructions for the machine operation. The untrained operators can cause injury or death.
| Do not use the loader without completing training.
Read the labels (stickers) on the machine, Manual for Maintenance and
Operation, and Manual for Operation.| | Do not leave the motor turned on and
arms lifted without any supervision.
While parking lowers the devices straight to the ground.

| Always use the safety frame and keep the safety seatbelt tight.
Keep your feet always on the footrests while operating the machine.| | Do not
adjust the work equipment. Use only the equipment approved by the company
Kovaco Electric for the given loader model.
| Do not use the loader without the cab with the homologation ROPS and FOPS.|
| The braking distance is extended during the travel of the loaded loader.
Therefore, take extra care while working on sloping, muddy, icy, or uneven
surfaces.
| Do not use the loader as a platform for lifting the person.| | Before the
use, check the technical condition of the loader.
Damaged components need to be replaced immediately. Check the tire pressure
regularly.
| Do not use the loader in an environment with air containing explosive dust
or explosive gases or where the loader may come into contact with flammable
material.| | For loading the material and traveling with the material do not
exceed the speed of 6 hm/h.
Keep the operated device in the lowest possible position while driving.
| Never transport other persons.
Make sure no authorized persons are in the work area.| | Do not lift the load
to extreme heights during the travel on the slope.
Pay attention to the condition of the terrain (evenness, strength).
| Keep the scoop and other devices as low as possible.
Do not drive nor turn the machine with the arms lifted.
Load, unload, and turn the machine on a straight surface.| | Avoid rapid
brakes or rapid turns while driving with a load.
| Do not exceed the rated operating capacity of the loader and individual
additional devices.| |
Keep a safe distance from power lines while working near them.
| Do not operate the loader while or after ingestion of drugs, alcohol, or medication affecting the reactions of a person.| | Do not stick the limbs or any objects out of the side grilles and boarding opening of the loader.
MANDATORY ACTIONS BEFORE LAUNCHING THE LOADER
- Tighten carefully the safety seatbelt.
- The safety frame must be lowered and clicked shut (closed).
- Keep your feet on the footrests and hands-on operating levers.
- Make sure there is no other person or living creature in the driving area.
- Make sure the windows are clean and you have a good view.
- Set your rear-view mirrors properly for a good view.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT
The loader Elise900 must be always equipped with safety components during
every use. Information about the safe use of equipment and devices will be
provided by your dealer.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
- SAFETY SEATBELT: Always check out the fastening components and make sure neither the belt nor clip are not damaged.
- SAFETY FRAME: If it is lifted, operating components of the loader must be blocked.
- CAB (ROPS and FOPS construction): Must be assembled to the loader and all connecting components must be tightened.
- MANUAL FOR OPERATION: Must be placed in the cab.
- SAFETY LABELS (STICKERS): Replace them in case of damage.
