WIRING DIAGRAM

NOTE: Your factory wires color may be differ from the above wiring diagram.

INSTALLATION STEPS

1. Open the hood of your car. Remove the grille by taking out the 6 push pins using a flathead screwdriver or panel popper. Unplug the turn signal connector at the back of the grille.
2. Next remove the stock headlights held in with 4 bolts on each light. Unplug the stock headlights by pushing the backside connector tab on the wiring harness with your thumb.
3. Connect the new LED headlights to the original vehicle’s headlight plug using the included H4 to H13 adapter. Run the DRL and Amber Turn signal wires into the stock turn signal lights connectors at the back of the grille by using the provided extension wires. Red DRL Wire Yellow Turn Signal Wire
4. Using T-tap connectors (NOT included) and extension wires, connect the yellow extension wires of the new LED headlight to the stock turn signal wires and connect the red extension wires to the stock parking light wire. Then reattach the trim ring and screws back in.
5. Disconnect the stock fog light power connector and remove your stock JK fog lights. um Signal Wire DRL Wire
6. Reinstall your new LED fog lights. Run the DRL and Turn signal wires into the back of the grille. Refer to step 4, connect the White DRL Halo wire (red extension wire) and the Amber Turn Signal wire (yellow extension wire) on the JK stock turn signal light wire harness on the back of the grille. 7. Before you install the grille and finish the installation, test all functions of the new headlights and fog lights. Adjust the screw, and make sure the beam location is not too high up and potentially blinding oncoming traffic.
8. Once the headlights and fog lights have been aimed, insert the plug of the turn signal again. Reinstall the grille and secure it with the original push rivets.

LIGHT THE WAY

FOG LIGHT AIMING

• There are two important issues to address when installing fog lights.
• The first is to minimize the amount of return glare into the drivers’ eyes, and the other is to minimize glare into oncoming eyes. Both of those issues must be accomplished while putting as much light as possible on the road.
• Firstly, Park your vehicle on a level surface, 25 feet away from a wall. And then measure the distance between the center of the fog light and the ground. You should also mark the corresponding height on the wall. Finally, adjust the lighting angle by rotating the adjustment screw so the top of the fog beam pattern is about 4 inches down from the lamp center at 25 feet, with the lamp facing straight forward. (See below.)

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

• Q: HOW TO WIRE DRLS TO ACC IN FUSE BOX?
  A: You may need to buy an extra relay wiring harness and follow these steps (wiring diagram see below):

  1. Connect the battery positive (+) wire to the relay positive input terminal.
  2. Connect the fog light positive wire to the relay positive output terminal.
  3. Connect the relay negative (-) terminal to the battery negative (-) terminal.
  4. Connect the headlight positive wire to the relay trigger terminal.
  5. Take out the original fuse (Fuse 52, 20A), install an inline fuse between the battery and the relay positive input terminal.
     Remember to disconnect the battery before starting any wiring work to ensure safety.

• Q: WHEN TO USE FOG LIGHTS?
  A: Fog lights are designed to be used when visibility is severely restricted, typically due to fog, but also in other poor visibility conditions such as snow or heavy rain. The Highway Code (Rule 226) states: “You MUST use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet). You may also use front or rear fog lights but you MUST switch them off when visibility improves.”

• Q: WHEN WILL THE DRLS TURN ON?
  A: DRLs is especially necessary in daytime situations where there may be low light or poor weather conditions. If you wire DRLs to the parking lights, the DRLs will illuminate whenever you turn on the parking lights or the headlights. If you wire DRLs to the fuse box without switch, the DRLs will turn on automatically whenever the vehicle is running If you wire DRLs to the fuse box with switch and relay, the DRLs will turn on when you turn on the switch.

• Q: WHEN WILL THE DRLS TURN ON?

• Q: HOW TO REMOVE THE MOISTURE IN THE HEADLIGHTS/FOC LIGHTS?

  1.  Remove the headlight/fog light and open the vent valve on the back, with front panel facing down and cover facing up.
  2.  Turn on the light for half an hour to remove the moisture.
  3. After removing the moisture, cover the vent valve back and install it back in your vehicle
