Product Usage Instructions

Installation and Configuration
This Climate Control Module will automatically undergo a configuration procedure after installation. Follow the steps below:

  1. Start the vehicle with the new module installed. The engine must be running throughout the process.
  2. Wait for the configuration sequence to complete. LEDs will indicate the progress according to the vehicle application.
  3. Configuration may take up to one minute.
  4. Configuration is complete when all button LEDs turn off.
  5. If the configuration fails, follow these steps:
    • Unplug both connectors to remove power from the module.
    • Wait for 15 seconds before reattaching both connectors.
    • Repeat the procedure starting from Step 1.
    • If the configuration fails after two attempts, contact Technical Support at 866-933-2911.

If you do not have a service manual or lack the skill to install this part, it is recommended that you seek the services of a qualified technician. Pay special attention to all cautions and warnings included in the shop manual. Read and follow all instructions carefully. This Climate Control Module will automatically undergo a configuration procedure after installation. DO NOT use an external programmer or scan tool. Follow the procedure below to complete the configuration. If the unit fails to configure after two attempts, call Technical Support at 866-933-2911.

Configuration Instructions

  • A. With the new module installed, start the vehicle to begin automatic configuration. The engine must be running for the entire process.
  • B. Wait while the system performs a configuration sequence. While configuration is in process LED(s) will be lit according to the vehicle application. See Table A below.
    • a. Configuration may take up to one minute
  • C. Configuration is complete when all button LEDs turn off.
  • D. If the configuration is unsuccessful:
    • a. Remove power from the module by unplugging both connectors.
    • b. Wait 15 seconds. Reattach both connectors.
    • c. Repeat the procedure beginning with Step A.
  • d. If the configuration is unsuccessful after two attempts, call Technical Support at 866-933-2911.
