Product Usage Instructions
Printing the Mounting Template
Before proceeding with any modifications to the mounting surface, ensure
that the mounting template is printed true-to-scale by following these steps:
- Open the mounting template document in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Select File -> Properties.
- Make a note of the Page Size displayed.
- Select File -> Print to open the print dialog.
- Ensure the paper size matches the Page Size noted in Step 3.
- Click OK and return to the print settings dialog.
- Set the Size Options and Page Scaling to Actual Size or None.
- Make sure Auto-Rotate and Center or Auto portrait/landscape option is NOT selected.
- Select the orientation that matches the template document (usually landscape).

- Always verify that the printed template matches the measurements provided in the template document before making any modifications to the mounting surface.

Configuring Adobe Acrobat to use Raymarine’s recommended print settings

Make a note of the Page Size.

Select File →Print.
The print dialog is displayed. -
Select Properties.

Ensure the paper size is set to the same dimensions as the page size identified in Step 1.

Click OK to return to the print settings dialog.

Ensure “Size Options” and “Page Scaling” options (as appropriate) are set to “Actual Size” or “None”.

Ensure the “Auto-Rotate and Center” or “Auto portrait/landscape” option (as appropriate) is NOT ticked.

Select the relevant orientation to match the template document orientation (“portrait” or “landscape”; most templates are landscape).
