Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the hand blender, make sure it is properly assembled. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on how to assemble the blender.
  2. Connect the hand blender to a power source using the provided power cord.
  3. Place the ingredients you want to blend into a suitable container or pot.
  4. Immerse the blending wand into the container or pot, ensuring that the blades are fully submerged in the ingredients.
  5. Turn on the hand blender by pressing the power button. Adjustthe speed settings according to your desired blending consistency.
  6.  Move the blending wand up and down or in a circular motion to blend the ingredients thoroughly.
  7. Once you have achieved the desired consistency, turn off the hand blender and disconnect it from the power source.
  8. Clean the hand blender by detaching the blending wand and rinsing it under running water. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Dry all parts before storing.
  9. Refer to the user manual for additional safety precautions and maintenance instructions.

PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE
For the quick chopping and mixing of foods. The blender set is a home appliance and is not designed for industrial applications!

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Carefully read the present manual prior to operating the appliance.
  2. Retain the present manual, cash voucher and appliance packaging. If lost, the manual cannot be renewed and the warranty on the appliance becomes void. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
  3. Do not place the appliance near heat sources, do not expose it to direct sunlight and moisture (do not submerge in water and other liquids). Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
  4. In case of ingress of moisture or leakage from the appliance, immediately disconnect it from the power supply.
  5. Do not install the appliance on soft, uneven, unstable surfaces. Do not cover the appliance.
  6. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply after use and before cleaning. When disconnecting the appliance from the power socket grab and pull the plug, not the cable.
  7. If the power cable is damaged, in order to avoid dangerous situations, have it replaced by the Manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar skilled personnel.
  8. Do not leave the appliance unattended. Ensure that the power cord is routed out of reach of children.
  9. The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.
  10. Regularly check the appliance and its power cable for damage. Operating a damaged appliance is not allowed.
  11. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourselves, apply to certified technicians.
  12. Only the use of original spare parts is allowed. Do not use accessories which are not included in the scope of supply.
  13. Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance before operating it.
  14. Before turning the appliance on ensure that it is fully and correctly assembled.
  15. Do not pull the power cable if it touches sharp edges, is jammed by any objects or entangled; avoid contact of the power cable with hot surfaces.
  16. In case of unskilled intervention into the appliance or non-observance of the operating requirements listed in the present manual the warranty becomes void.
  17. Connect the appliance only to power grid sockets equipped with earthing contacts, use only two-pole extension cables with 10A rating and an earthing conductor.
  18. Do not use multiple high-power appliances simultaneously – this may lead to malfunctions in residential power supply systems.
  19. The appliance should only be disassembled after the motor has come to a complete stop.
  20. Do not use the appliance if:
    • the power cord is damaged;
    • the appliance has visible damage;
    • the appliance has been dropped from height;
    • the appliance has been exposed to moisture.
  21. Ensure the appliance is turned off when not in use!
  22. Do not operate the appliance at temperatures below 0 °С and above 35 °С. If the appliance has been exposed to temperatures below 0 °С for a prolonged time, place it in a heated environment for at least 3 hours before turning it on.
  23. Pull the plug from the power socket if: the appliance does not work correctly (unusual noise, vibration, etc.); before disassembly/reassembly; after each use. Disconnect the appliance from power supply if You have to leave it unattended for even a short time.
  24. Packaging materials can be potentially dangerous to children and should be stored in a specially designated location.
  25. Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.
  26. Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.

SCOPE OF SUPPLY AND CONTROLS

OPERATING PROCEDURE

PREPARATION
Before connecting the appliance to power supply ensure that the power grid voltage correspond to that indicated on the appliance.
Remove all packaging materials. Clean the attachment (see MAINTENANCE Section).
HAND-HELD BLENDER
The blender is designed for mixing liquids (e.g. mixing diary foods, sauces, fruit juices, soups, drinks and cocktails) and soft ingredients (e.g. purees, baby food ingredients, etc.).

  1. Install the blender attachment and connect the appliance to power supply.
  2. Fully submerge the cutting disc guard into the glass.
  3. Press the main mode button or the TURBO button to turn the appliance on.
  4. Slowly move the appliance up and down and in circles to uniformly blend all ingredients.

CHOPPER
The chopper is designed for chopping meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, hazel nuts, almonds, etc. Use the TURBO button to chop hard foods.
Do not try to chop overly hard materials such as nutmeg, coffee beans or cereals. Before using the chopper:

  • Cut the food into small pieces;
  • Remove stalks from herbs and the shells from nuts;
  • Remove bones, sinews and gristle from meat.
  1. Install the blade in the chopper bowl center mount and fix it in place.
  2. Place the ingredients (max. 250 g) in the bowl.
  3. Install the chopper lid.
  4. Insert the blender housing into the coupling and ensure that it is properly engaged.
  5. Press the TURBO mode button to activate the unit.
  6. After use, press the attachment release button to disconnect the blender unit from the chopper bowl.
  7. Turn the lid counterclockwise to disconnect it and lift it up.
  8. Remove the blade by gently turning and lifting it.

HAND MIXER
Suitable for whipping soft ingredients such as egg whites, cream, batters, eggs, and sugar.
NOTE :
Do not try to whisk harder mixtures than margarine as you may damage the balloon whisk.
Do not whisk more than 6 egg whites or 1000 ml of cream at the same time.
POTATO MASHER
Great in mashing potatoes quickly, and efficiently with little mixing and agitation as possible. Over-mashing or over-mixing results in the development of gelatinized starches and bind together into something most often compared to glue or wallpaper paste.

  1. Place the food inside a blending jar or a mixing container.
  2. Connect Potato Masher attachment to the Motor Body
  3. Place the Potato Masher inside the ingredients and then press the Power Button to activate it.
  4. Move the Potato Masher gently through the ingredients until the desired texture is achieved.
  5. Turn the motor off by releasing the Power Button before taking the Potato Masher out of the container and unplug the device.

GRINDER
Best used to grind spices, nuts, and seeds into powders.

  1. Fill the container and screw the blade securely and connect the Motor Body securely to the connection. Plug the appliance into a wall socket.
  2. Turn the container with the Motor Body upside down. And, start mixing by pressing the Power Button.
  3. Press and hold the button in intervals of around 10 seconds. Release  the button briefly and start again. NOTE: The mixer can only be used continuously for a maximum of 1 minute. Then, pause for 1 minute so that the appliance can cool down before starting again.
  4. You may use Turbo if needed. NOTE: Only press the Turbo Button in short intervals. The motor runs at the highest speed until the button is released. When you release the button, the motor stops immediately.
  5. Continue until you achieve your desired form.
  6. Remove the cord after use. Turn the container back and remove the Motor Body from the connection. And then, unscrew the blade from the container.

MILK FROTHER
Best in transforming milk into thick and silky foam and microfoam. CAUTION!
If you have long hair, ensure to keep it away from the whisk and tie it up neatly to ensure they do not get caught in between the whisk when operating.

MAINTENANCE

ATTENTION!

  • Carefully remove all attachments.

  • Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the motor and gear units of the blender, then wipe them dry.

  • After processing salty and sour foods immediately rinse the used attachments with water.

  • When processing highly staining foods (e.g. carrots or beets) the attachments and vessels may become stained; wipe them with fabric dampened in vegetable oil, then rinse with water.

  • Wash the attachments, measuring cup, bowl with warm water, rinse and let dry.

  • Place the shredding blade into the bowl, put the plastic cap on the blade. Never submerge the motor and gear units in water or any other liquids, wash them under a jet of water or place in a dishwasher.
    Clean the appliance before putting it away for prolonged storage.

  • Do not wind the power cord around the motor unit.

  • Store the blender set in a cool dry place, out of reach of children.

DISPOSAL

Upon expiry of its service life the appliance can be disposed of separately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling centre.

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture). The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months since the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed: – The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
    The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.

  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:

    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.
  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

    • mechanical damage;
    • normal wear of the appliance;
    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    • improper installation or transportation;
    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
    • remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
    • consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).
    The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
