OPERATION

  1. Consult your vehicle’s instruction manual to know which kind of brake fluid is best. Ensure that the engine is turned off. Lift your vehicle and keep it safely elevated on a stand. You can remove the wheels in turn or all together.
  2. Open your hood and locate your brake fluid reservoir. Remove as much brake fluid as possible from the vehicle’s reservoir. Be careful as brake fluid will erode paint.
  3. Place the brake fluid reservoir adapter (H) where the brake fluid reservoir cap was. Connect the brake fluid reservoir adapter to the adapter hose (G).
  4. Fill the pressure bleeder reservoir (D) with brake fluid, screw the reservoir cap (C), with the provided cap wrench (E), on and use the hand pump handle (B) to increase the pressure of the system to 10 psi.
  5. Start bleeding the fluid out of the system by attaching the bleeding hose (F) to the brake caliper, unfastening the caliper bleeder, and collecting the brake fluid in the brake bleeder bottle (A).
  6. Assist the bleeding process by pressing on your vehicle’s brakes periodically.
  7. Stop draining fluid once the fluid going through the bleeding hose becomes clear. Refasten the bleeder and disconnect the bleeding hose.
  8. Repeat this process for the brake callipers on all other wheels. Between each calliper bleeds, fill up the brake fluid reservoir. Clean any grime off the caliper before connection.
  9. Depressurize the reservoir before removing the brake fluid reservoir adapter and reinstalling the brake fluid reservoir cap on your vehicle.
  10. Reinstall the wheels after bleeding each calliper or once all the callipers have been bled. Verify the integrity of the braking system by depressing the brake pedal and if it does not feel firm, correct any problems before using the vehicle. Next, take a slow drive while periodically testing the brakes. Again, correct any problems before continuing to use the vehicle.
