Product Usage Instructions
1. Installation:
- Install the load carriers according to separate instructions with internal distances between 700-800 mm.
- Lift the box onto the load carrier and open the roof box.
- Position the roof box as far backward as possible without catching on the tailgate for stability and reduced wind noise.
- Ensure the roof box is straight and not catching on the tailgate.
2. Securing the Roof Box:
- Install the quick grips around the load carrier ensuring it is centred.
- Pull the quick grips together and lock by turning the knob clockwise until you hear a click.
3. Distributing Loads and Securing:
- The total roof weight on the car must not exceed the specified limit.
- Do not exceed the roof box’s upper weight limit of 75 kg.
- Secure all loads inside the roof box with a tensioner band threaded through the eyes in the bottom.
4. Closing and Maintenance:
- Ensure the roof box is properly locked and the key removed before travelling.
- Remove the load carriers and roof boxes before using a car wash.
- Store the roof box lying down when not in use.
- Regularly check that load carriers are secure on the roof and roof box is secure on the load carriers.

Quick grip function
- Open the quick grip by turning the knob anticlockwise until the orange indicator that indicates open mode is seen
- To get the quick grips to the start position, slide them to the side
Installation
- Install the load carriers according to separate instructions with internal distances between 700-800 mm.
- Lift the box onto the load carrier and open the proof box. The roof box must be positioned as far backward as possible without catching on the tailgate. This is to increase stability and reduce wind noise.
Tip: Check again that the roof box is straight and that it does not catch on the tailgate
IMPORTANT
Make sure that you place the roof box facing forward. The front of it should be pointing in the direction of the bonnet.
NOTE
When using quick grips with plates, make sure that the plates are placed beneath the quick grips, inside the roof box. Use a plate for each quick grip.

Securing the roof box
NOTE
Carry out the following to ensure that the roof box is properly secured:
- After driving 10 km tighten the quick grips until you hear a click.
- The quick grips must be tightened four times per year to ensure that the roof box is secured and that it is properly attached.
Distributing loads
- Distribute the load evenly in the roof box.
- The roof box is water resistant but not water proof.
NOTE
- The total roof weight on the car must not be exceeded (see Owners Manual). Maximum permitted roof load = load \carriers weight + roof box weight + load weight.
NOTE
- Do not exceed the box’s upper weight limit of 75 kg.
Securing loads
All loads in the roof box must be secured by a tensioner band.
Thread the roof box tension strap through the eyes in the bottom of the roof box.
Closing the roof box
- Fold down the cover, lock and remove the key.
- The roof box is properly closed when the cover covers the lower end of the box and securely locks the cover.

- Regularly check that the load carriers are secure on the roof and that the roof box is secure on the load carriers.

- Be aware that the height and driving characteristics of the car change when the roof box is mounted.
