Volvo 200 Series 4-Door Wagon Slimline II Roof Rack Kit

The Front Runner Volvo 200 Series 4-Door Wagon Slimline II Roof Rack Kit is a complete kit that includes a mounting system specific to your vehicle and a rack tray or load bar slats. The kit also comes with wind deflectors, legs, spacers, hex bolts, flat washers, nylon nuts, cap screws, and nut caps. The kit is designed to fit Volvo 200 Series 4 Door Wagon model years 1974-1993.

Kit Contents

1. 1 x Slimline II Tray – 1345mm(W) X 2166mm(L)
2. 2 x Wind Deflector – 20mm Lip Narrow Pair / 1255mm (W)
3. 2 x No 1 Leg 120mm (Pair)
4. 2 x No 2 Leg 130mm (Pair)
5. 2 x Leg Spacer 6mm (Pair)

The kit also includes all the necessary tools needed for assembly, including a torque wrench, and requires a 3mm, 5mm, and 13mm socket.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation, read the fitting instructions carefully to avoid improper installation that may void certain aspects of your warranty.
2. Open all your Front Runner rack kit boxes and gather the assembly instructions for the various components.
3. Assemble the mounting system and fit the roof rack tray or load bars to your specific vehicle using the provided instructions.
4. Make sure that the wind deflector is fitted according to fitment guide WDST010 and do not fit wind deflector WDST007.
5. Place the tray on the vehicle and position all the feet so that they rest on the gutters. Position the rack so that the LH and RH rear Grab On Feet measures 145mm from the trim joint.
6. Fully tighten all the M6x50 Cap Screws to secure the tray onto the rails with a tightening torque of 6Nm. Make sure there is no movement on the rack after fully tightening all the fasteners.
7. Refit the front cover plates and center the rack and tighten fully. Finish off by placing M8 Nut Caps over the M8 Nyloc Nuts.
8. Front Runner Rack Kits often have a higher load rating than the vehicles they are mounted to. Please refer to your specific vehicle manufacturer for a recommended roof rating. Front Runner cannot be responsible for improper loading beyond the vehicle manufacturer’s stated load capacity.

TOOLS NEEDED

FIT AND SECURE

• Flip the Tray so that the bottom of the Tray faces up.

• Insert twelve M8x16 Hex Bolts into the machined slots of the slats as shown.

• Insert four M8x30 Hex Bolts into the machined slots of the slats as shown.

• Before continuing, ensure that your Wind Deflector is fitted according to the Fitment guide WDST010.

• Do not fit wind deflector WDST007.

• Loosely assemble the Legs & Spacers(Items 3, 4 & 5) as shown, slats indicated in 2.1 using M8 Flat Washers and M8 NylocNuts included in the Leg sets.

• Refer to the LASSUNI fitment guide.

Product FIT AND SECURE

• Place your Tray on the vehicle positioning all the feet so that they rest on the gutters.
• Position the rack so that the LH and RH rear Grab On Feet measures 145mm from the trim joint. Fully tighten all the M6x50 Cap Screws to secure the Tray onto the rails.
• Tightening Torque 6Nm
• Make sure there is no movement on the rack after fully tightening all the fasteners.
• Refit the Front Cover Plates.
• Center the rack and tighten it fully. Finish off by placing M8 Nut Caps over the M8 Nyloc Nuts.
