VOLVO Bicycle Holder
Introduction
- Regularly check that the bicycle holder is secured on the load carriers and that the bicycle’s securing devices are properly tightened.
- Always keep the tensioner arms locked during transportation.
- Note that wind noise can occur when the bicycle holder is installed.
- Be aware that the height and driving characteristics of the car can be affected when the bicycle holder is installed.
- Before travelling make sure that the bicycle holder is securely locked and that the key has been removed.
- Speed should be adjusted according to the load being transported and according to the applicable speed regulations, though not more than 130 km/h.
- Remove the bicycle holder and roof load carriers when not in use. This reduces air resistance and therefore also fuel consumption and wind noise.
- Position the load carriers so that there is no risk of the tailgate catching the bicycle holder when it is opened.
