Introduction

The New XC40 Recharge T5. Enjoy More, Using Less. The new XC40 Recharge T5 features an electric motor and petrol engine that works in harmony to give you the perfect balance between on-demand power for performance with low fuel consumption while cutting CO₂ emissions. We achieve this with Drive-E, the cutting-edge technology behind every one of our advanced petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The XC40 Recharge is a compact Scandinavian plug-in hybrid SUV – designed for the city, and the rest of the world.

The Volvo XC40 has a high ground clearance, large wheels, and true SUV proportions to give it a powerful stance. And from the bold front grille to the beautifully detailed taillights, it’s uniquely Swedish and unmistakably a modern design.

The XC40 is our most powerful expression, characterized by dynamic contrasts and a confident presence. Unique exterior design details in glossy black, such as the front grille, the roof and the door mirror caps, together with large alloy wheels make it possible to create a truly distinctive look.
