05 Pro Zigbee LED Dimmer
Please note
- This is a duo dimmer and it should be connected as shown under the heading ‘Wiring diagram:
- Installation of the dimmer to a 230V mains power supply should be carried out by a qualified professional, taking into account national regutations. During all work, make sure that the electricity is switched off.
- You cannot connect more than one dimmer in parallel. To then operate the same load from two points.
- Dimmer is not suitable for wound/magnetic or core transformers.

MULTIWAY SWITCHING: OPTION 1 MULTIWAY SWITCHING: OPTION 2
Setting min light level
Turn on the lights using the dimmer shaft. Then turn the dimmer shaft as far
as possible to the left (minimum light output). Do the lights blink? Then use
a screwdriver to slowly turn the MIN potentiometer to the right for stable
light. Is the light already stable? Then slowly turn the MIN to the left for
even better dimmability, until just before the point the lamps start blinking.
That is the best dimmability of these LED lamps. You can set this for both
light groups.
Setting max light level
Turn on the lights using the dimmer shaft. Then turn the dimmer shaft as far
as possible to the right {maximum light output). Do the lights blink? Then
turn the MAX potentiometer slowly to the left for stable light. Is the light
already stable? Then slowly turn the MAX to the right for even better
dimmability, to just before the point when the lamps start flashing. This is
the best dimmability of the LED lamps. You can set this for both light groups.

REDUCTION OF CONNECTION CAPACITY BY POWERFACTOR
When calculating the LED connection power of the dimmer, take into account the
PowerFactor of the dimmable LED lighting. See the global calculation below for
this.Example: 10
lamps * (SW per lamp / 0.8 PowerFactor) = 62.5 Watt
Installation
Step1
Connect the duo dimmer as shown in point 1: wiring diagram. For an
installation without two-way switching see the wiring diagram, for a situation
with two-way switching see multiway switching 2A or 2B.
Insert the installation wires into the appropriate connection ports of the
dimmer and screw them down firmly. After installing the installation wires,
check that they clamp properly in the connection ports of the dimmer.
Step 2
Now mount the dimmer in a single flush-mounting box and screw down.
Step 3 Now adjust the minimum and maximum light levels of the lamps on the
dimmer. This is indicated at point 3: Setting min. light level and 4: Setting
max. light level. After adjus- ting the lights, check whether the lamps remain
stable in both low and high light levels.
Step 4
Now place the cover frame and central plate on the dimmer. Next, place the
round plate on both dimmer channels first and then screw on the nut. Check
that the cover frame and central plate are firmly in place on the dimmer. See
point 6: Suitable cover frame brands for matching cover material.
