Safety caution

Warning : please read the instruction manual thoroughly before using this equipment , this will guide you to operate it properly.

1. This equipment should be used within the guide in the manual , any operation or purpose that beyond the instruction and requirement , the manufacturer will take no responsibility from it
2. When using the power source , please make sure if the voltage within the requirement of the equipment , otherwise it might be harmful to the operator or patient
3. To avoid the risk of being hurt , do not let the tip of the unit touch the lips , gums or mucous membranes of the patient. Rubber Dam is necessary !
4. Risk of fire : the pen tip is not allowed to have contact with the flammable air or liquid.
5. This equipment is not allowed to use in the environment where is filled with flammable air.
6. Do not immerse the unit and charge into the liquid.
7. If there is liquid leaked out ( probably from battery ) , please stop working , and send the equipment to the authorized after-sale centre to replace the battery . It is dangerous to use this equipment while the battery is leaking.
8. The battery is not allowed to change , otherwise it might cause problems or malfunction.
9. Heart disease, pregnant women and children should be used with caution.
10. This equipment is only for the professionals.

Intended Use

This product is only available to the well-trained dentist and dental laboratory which is for surgery of filling root canal , used for cutting the extra gutta percha from the root canal.

Instructions

Please check if the voltage of the power source match to the equipment before charging.

Charge:

1. First , please connect the charger to the power source
2. Put the unit into the charge base , when the unit is inside the charge slot , the light indicator on the handle will run on

Description of battery:

1. First time use the equipment , please make sure it is fully charged , this process takes about 12 hours.
2. Please charge the nickel-metal hybrid battery before it fully discharged . This ensures the best service life of your equipment . According to the frequency of use , the life of the product is about 2 years.

Operation during the work:

1. The pen tip on the unit , the curved part form the top is opposite to the button , which makes work easier.
2. The pen tips should be installed onto the handle under the cooled state ( and the button should not be operated during the installation ) , use the curved part form the tip to cut the gutta percha.
3. Please make sure the pen tip is well installed before operating. Cleaning : The tip is easy to be cleaned after a few second heat.
4. When the gutta percha is cut , release the button , wait for the tip to cool down before take it out from the patient . The operation button is ” contact button”: the unit will stop working after releasing the button.

Safety Precautions

1. When the pen tip is still on the unit , please do not bent it.
2. If the force is too strong during the treatment, it would be bad for the service life of the pen tip.
3. Electromagnetic should be avoided.
4. Please do not modify the unit at any way.

Routine maintenance and cleaning

1. f the pen tip could not work properly, press the button immediately and check the top of the tip. If there is defect, please change a new tip
2. If the LED indicator does not illuminate during the recharging process, please check it if the recharge base is well-connected to the power source and the battery itself.
3. Please clean and sterilize the pen tip before each treatment.
4. The remaining gutta percha can be cleaned with the medical cotton swab.
5. If use it properly, the pen tip can be autoclave above25 time, the autoclave time depends on the temperature(at least 20 min under 121°C, at least 5 min under 132°C/134°C)

Warranty explanation

As a manufacturer , we will take responsibility of the defect product caused by the material and manufacturing process ,only if it is still within the 1 years warranty .The warranty of the main unit of this equipment is for 1 year , battery for 6months. Any damage that caused by the unauthorized third party, we will not take any responsibility !
