Setup of the Camera Head

To set up the camera head, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the pan and tilt miniature camera head to the cable or rod using the provided clutch socket with 8 poles.
  2. Ensure a tight connection to guarantee a waterproof seal.

Controlling the Camera Head

The pan and tilt camera head is controlled using the keys on the camera system. Follow the instructions in the operation manual for proper usage of the control keys.

Home Function

The home function automatically aligns the camera head to a straight position. To activate this function, press the SHIFT key followed by the HOME key on the camera system’s keyboard.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance is essential for the longevity of the camera head. Follow these maintenance tips:

  • Activate the transmitter in the camera menu.
  • Clean the lens using a clean damp cloth without any cleaning agents.

Intended Use
The Wöhler pan and tilt camera head is designed for the inspection of pipes, air ducts chimneys, water lines, ventilation lines. It has to be connect-ed to the Wöhler VIS camera system.

Transport

ATTENTION!
Improper transport can harm the camera head.

Always transport camera head in the provided box in order to prevent damage.

Information on disposal

Electronic equipment does not belong into domes-tic waste, but must be disposed in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.

Connecting the camera cable or rod

The pan and tilt miniature camera head is con-nected via a clutch socket with 8 poles to the ca-ble or the rod.

  • Plug the camera head and camera cable or the rod together.
  • Turn the thread clockwise for closing the screw connection tightly for a waterproof con-nection.
    ATTENTION!
    Only a tight connection guarantees a waterproof connection.

Controlling the camera head

The pan and tilt camera head is controlled by the keys of the camera system.

Home-Function

The home function ensures the camera head is automatically aligned to a straight position, ensur-ing the camera “looks straight ahead”.
Moreover, when the user presses the HOME key, the camera head aligns itself so that the display is parallel with the ground above (this function is deactivated if the camera head faces 90° upwards or downwards. Under these circumstances, the optics can only be guided forwards).

To activate the home function, press the SHIFT key and then the HOME key on the keyboard of the camera system.

Localisation

The Wöhler camera head Ø 40 mm is equipped with a transmitter coil that transmits signals. These signals can be located by the Locator Wöh-ler L 200. This way it is possible to locate the ex-act position of the camera head in the pipe sys-tem.

NOTE!
The transmitter hast o be activated in the camera menu (setup-menu).

Maintenance

Clean the lens only with a clean damp cloth but never with cleaning agent.

Warranty and Service

Warranty

Each Wöhler camera head will be tested in all functions and will leave our factory only after ex-tensive quality control testing. The guarantee pe-riod for the meter is 12 months from the sales date, provided that it is used correctly.
This warranty does not cover the freight and pack-ing costs when the device is sent to the factory for repair. Service by non authorized personnel or making modifications camera head voids any war-ranty.
