Product Description
The smart wired gateway Pro by MOES serves as the Internet of Things
connection hub supporting the Matter protocol. It enables local management and
stable operation of multiple devices such as home automation, smart energy,
and home security systems. Users can remotely view or control connected
devices using their mobile phones, set up scene automation, and enjoy a
convenient intelligent experience.
Preparation For Use
Ensure an effective connection between your smart phone and the Smart
Gateway by following these steps:
- Connect your mobile phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Connect the Smart Gateway to your Wi-Fi wireless router using a LAN port.
- Make sure both the smart phone and the Smart Gateway are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Product Usage Instructions
Add Devices
- Download the MOES App from the App store or scan the QR code.
- Register or log in to the MOES App.
Add Device
- Power on the gateway and connect it to the router using a network cable.
- Ensure both indicators on the gateway are on. If reset is needed, press and hold the reset button for more than 5 seconds.
- In the App Home page, click the ‘+’ in the upper right corner to add a device or use the code scanning entrance.
- Scan the QR code on the device to pair it with the network.
- After successfully adding the device, you can edit its name and access its page by clicking ‘Done’.
FAQ
- Q: Can I use Tuya Smart/Smart Life App with this smart gateway?
A: While Tuya Smart/Smart Life App can still work, it is highly recommended to use the MOES App for better compatibility and additional features.

Preparation For Use
- Mobile phone is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
- Ensure that the smart phone and the smart gateway are in the same Wi-Fi network to ensure an effective connection between the smart phone and the Smart Gateway
Add Devices
- Download MOES App on App store or scan the QR code
- MOES App is upgraded as much more compatibility than Tuya Smart/Smart Life App, functional well for scene controlled by Siri, widget and scene recommendations as the fully new customized service.
- (Note: Tuya Smart/Smart Life App still works, but MOES App is highly recommended
- Registration or Log in.
- Download “MOES” Application.
- Enter the Register/Login interface; tap “Register” to create an account by entering your phone number to get verification code and “Set password”. Choose “Log in” if you already have a MOES account
Add Device

Power on the gateway and connect it to the router through the network cable.

Ensure that both indicators of the gateway are on.
(If reset is required, press and hold the reset button for more than 5s before releasing

On the App’s Home page, Click the “+” in the upper right corner to add advice, click the code scanning entrance in the upper right corner to add device.

Scan the QR code on the devices to pair it with the network.

Add the device successfully, you can edit the name of the device to enter the device page by click “Done”.

Bridge to Apple Home
Note:
- Please make sure the IOS system of the mobile is above 16.3.1;
- A smart home hub must be set(eg: HomePod, HomePod Mini, Apple TV or iPad),then the Matter devices can be added into “Home” App.
- The configured Wi-Fi must be on the local Area Network (LAN) with the hub.
- Please open Bluetooth before adding firstly
APP Download
- Please open APP Store, then search “HomeKit” and download the APP.
- Please open the APP and login in via local iCloud account after the download has completed
Matter share code location
Enter the gateway panel, click on ‘…’ in the upper right corner Then click
Share via Matter Gateway to enter the Matter Sharing Code interface.
Add Device
- Confirm that the MOES APP has been configured with the Matter gateway.
- Open the Home app on your iPhone and tap the plus sign (+) in the upper-right corner Click “Add Accessory” and follow the application guide to add device.
- Scan the QR Code for Matter Sharing to pair it with the network.
- If you cannot scan the QR code, tap I Don’t Have a Code or Cannot Scan. Then input the serial number for adding
Bridge to Google Home
Note：
- A “Matter enabled hub” must be set up in order to add Matter devices to the ‘Google Home’ app；
- Configured WiFi network and Matter-enabled hub must in the same local area network(LAN) ；
- Please open the Bluetooth in the phone before adding firstly
APP Download
- Android system : Please download “Google Home”App from GooglePlay；
- IOS system : Please “Google Home”App from AppStore
- Please sign in, create a home , and add Matter-enabled hub (Please refer to Google device instructions)
Matter share code location
Enter the gateway panel, click on ‘…’ in the upper right corner Then click
Share via Matter Gateway to enter the Matter Sharing Code interface. 
Add Device
- Confirm that the MOES APP has been configured with the Matter gateway.
- Open the home app on your mobile phone and follow the application guide to add device
- If you cannot scan the QR code, tap ‘Set up without QR code’. Then input the serial number for adding.
NOTE:
Sub-devices can only be added via the MOES APP.
Instructions
- Add Sub-device
- The sub-device can be added after the gateway is successfully added.
- Please refer to the instructions on the APP to add the sub-device.
- Rest network
Press and hold the gateway button for more than 5 seconds to reset the device. After the initialization of the device is completed, the device will on distribution network state again, and repeat the steps of [Add Device]
Note:
- Please ensure that your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network before adding a gateway.
- In order to make the connection more smooth, please try to keep the phone close to the gateway and ensure that the phone and the gateway are in the same Wi-Fi network.
- If the device fails to be added or is not in the distribution network state after power on, please press and hold the gateway button for more than 5 seconds to reset the device and add it again
