Product Description

Independentphotoelectricsmoke fire detectionalarm is an alarm that detectsfire by sensing smoke. When the smoke concentrationreachesthe alarm value, the alarm will send out a sound and light alarm signal to remind you to take measuresto effectively protect safety of life and property for you and your family. It can control other smart hardware products through the linkage of the gatewaydevice, such as flexible control of window openers, exhaustfans, smart curtains and other devices.
Product Description

Entering the Network Configuration Mode

  1. Power on product
    Entering the Network Configuration Mode

  2. Long press the button until green indicator light flash quickly, then sensor enter network configuration state .

  3. When network configuration, make sure the device as close as possible to the Gateway.

  4. Open My Home Page in TuyaSmart App, click to enter the added gatedway, select to add sub-device. Then follow the operation according to the App hint .

  5. If network configuration fail, repeat to long press the device button until green light flash quickly. Repeat above operation

Installation Instructions

Precautions

  1. Mount the product only on indoor ceilings.

  2. Install the product at least 50 cm away from lighting products.

  3. Do not install the productin bathroomsor other moist environments.

  4. Do not install the productin places with non-firesmokeor steam.

  5. Ensure that the temperatureof the installation environmentis within the range of —10°Cto +55°C.

  6. If a cupboardis near the ceiling, install the product at least 60 cm away from the cupboard.

  7. nstallthe product at least 150 cm away from ventilators, air conditioners,and air vents.

  8. You are advised to use screws to install the product. If youuse a 3M sticker to install it, any product damageor safety accidentsincurredtherefrom will be your responsibility.

  9. If you chooseto use a 3M sticker, afTix the productto a smooth,even, dry, and clean surface.

  10. Regularlycheckwhetherthe product is attached to the surfacesecurelyto prevent it from falling down.

  11. The product cannot be mountedto the mountingbase unlessthe battery is installed.

  12. If you affix the product to a paintedsurface,peeling of the paint may cause the product to fall down. If this occurs, youare liable for any problemsincurredtherefrom.

Rotate the product clockwise into the mounting base.

  1. Using a 3M sticker

Affix the 3M sticker to the rear of the mounting base.
Affix the product to the target position.

Fire Alarm Function

  1. When the productdetectssmoke,it immediatelysends audibleand visual alarm signals.

  2. In case of fire, take propermeasuresimmediately.For exampIe,caII the fire emergencynumber, or use a fire extinguisherto put out the fire.

  3. If there is no fire, pressthe mute/self-diagnosti¢button to mute the product. ”The product will be mute for 90s. During this period, the product will not generate any audible or visual alarm. After 90s, the product will be restored to the detectionstate.

  4. The productwill generate a fire alarm when the following itemscontactit directly:

  5. Mist sprayed from pesticidesor cosmetics

  6. Smoke generated by cigarettes and incensesticks

  7. Smoke-typeor thermalevaporation-typepesticides

  8. Cookingsmoke or steam

  9. Condensation

Alarm and Test

  1. Detectionstate: The status indicatorblinks red at 50s intervals.

  2. Self-diagnosticstate: When you press the mute/self-diagnostidautton, the status indicatorwill turn red. If you press and hold the mute/self-diagnostic buttonfor less than 5s, the productwill enter the self-diagnosti¢state, the status indicatorwill blink red, andthe buzzer will generate a sound (sameas that in alarm state).

  3. When the smokedensityreachesthe presetalarm threshoId,the product generates an alarm.

  4. Test the productat least once every week.

  5. During a test, keep away from the speakerbecausethe loud alarm sound may damage your hearing.

  6. If the product generate an alarm when it is monitoring, potential risks may exist. Do not ignore the alarm and try to locate the cause.

Mute Function

If the product generates an alarm. potential risks may exist, Before you mut the product, ensure that there is no fire. Do not block the product or disable it n any way. f you do’so, the product can no longer provide you with protection.

If the product generates an alam because it detects smoke in the kitchen but not a fire (for example, bacon frying), press the mute/self-diagnostic button on the panel to mute the product.

When the product is muted, the status indicator will rapidly blink red. The product sensitivity will be restored automatically within 90s.

Note: If the smoke density surrounding the product is still high, the product will generate an alarm again. Open the door and window to let out the smoke.

If you do not know the cause for the alarm, try to locate the souroe of the smoke, as ignoring the alarm could result in property damage, personal injury, or even death.

Routine Maintenance

‘The producthas a maintenance-freedesign. You only needto performthe followingroutine operationsto ensure thatthe product works properly.

  1. Test the productat least once every week. For details on how to test the product, see”Alarm and Test”.
  2. Keep the productclean and remove dust from it with a vacuumcleanerandsoft brush at least once every year

Note: Do not paint your product. The paint may block smoke intake vents of the product, causing the product to ‘malfunction.

Troubleshooting

Ifthe productmalfunctions, s battery may have reachedits valdlifespanor the productmay be affectedby dust, smoke residue, or other dit. If this s the case, refer to “Routine Maintenance’for instructionson cleaningthe product. If the faultpersists, performthe followingoperations:

  1. 1f the productdoes not respond, check whetherthe productis correctlymountedto the mountingbase.
  2. If the productintermittentiybeeps (at about 40s intervals), the batterylevel is low. Replacethe batterywithin oe week.
  3. Ifthe productintermittentybeeps (at about40s intervals), the sensoris faulty. Clean the product 4.1 the productgeneratesalarms frequentlywhen there s nofire or smoke, cleanthe productor reinstalthe productin another position.

IMPORTANT Ifthe fault persistsafter you performthe preceding operations contactthe local vendor. Do not disassemble the productyoursef,or the warranty servicefor the product will becomeinvalid.

Warranty Certificate

Warranty policy:

  1. If the product has quality problems within 7 days of the payment date, you can apply for a refund based on the invoice price or to replace the product with one of the same model.
  2. If the product has quality problems within 15 days of the payment date, you can apply to replace the product with one of the same model.
  3. If the product has quality problems within 12 months of the payment date, you can apply to have the product repaired.

What is not covered under this warranty:

  1. The product owner has no warranty certificate or the warranty service has expired.
  2. Damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or storage.
  3. Damage caused by disassembly and repair without Tuya’s authorization.
  4. Damage caused by force majeure.
  5. Nomal discoloration and depreciation after the product has been used.
