Product Usage Instructions

Before Starting:

  1. Add engine oil:
  2. Remove the oil service door to access the oil dipstick.
  3. Remove oil dipstick.
  4. Using the supplied 4-cycle engine oil and funnel, slowly add engine oil to the engine until full. Do not overfill.
  5. Add unleaded gasoline to gas tank:
  6. Unscrew gas cap on top of tank.
  7. Slowly add gasoline into the fuel tank, ensuring it does not exceed the red maximum fill ring.
  8. Secure gas cap.
  9. Connect LPG tank:
  10. Connect included LPG hose to standard LPG tank and hand tighten.
  11. Connect other end of LPG hose to generator and hand tighten.
  12. Test connections with soapy water to check for leaks.

Starting Procedure:

  1. Ensure all loads are disconnected from the generator and ECO mode switch is OFF.
  2. Select fuel source.
  3. Place the run/stop switch in the ON position.
  4. Pull the recoil handle firmly until you feel resistance, then apply a rapid pull while pulling out from the inverter.
  5. Connect loads to the control panel receptacles.

Shutdown Procedure:

  1. Disconnect all loads from the generator.
  2. Put the engine run/stop switch in the OFF position.

  • Question: What should I do if there is a fuel leak?

BEFORE STARTING

  1. Add engine oil.
    • a. Remove the oil service door to access the oil dipstick.
    • b. Remove oil dipstick.
    • c. Using the supplied 4-cycle engine oil and funnel, slowly add engine oil to the engine until full.
    • d. Do not overfill. If oil level is too high, oil will drain out through the fill plug.

    • a. Unscrew gas cap on top of tank
    • b. Slowly add gasoline into the fuel tank. The gasoline level should NOT be higher than the red maximum fill ring.
    • c. Secure gas cap
  3. Connect LPG tank.
    • a. Connect included LPG hose to standard LPG tank and hand tighten.
    • b. Connect other end of LPG hose to generator and hand tighten.
    • c. Test connections with soapy water to make sure there are no leaks.
