Product Usage Instructions
Filter Handling Instructions
- DO NOT use a blade to open the box.
- DO NOT apply load on the filter media.
- DO NOT touch the filter media or push on the grids.
- ONLY HANDLE large filters by two persons and carry them vertically.
- ONLY the LIFT panel filters at the corners of the frame.
Proper Filter Installation
- Ensure the filter is compatible with your HVAC system.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for filter replacement intervals.
- Insert the filter in the direction indicated by arrows on the frame.
- Secure the filter in place according to your system’s requirements.
Maintenance Tips

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Store the filter in a vertical position in the original box.
- Keep in temperatures between 50C – 400C.
- Store in a clean, dry and frost-protected place
- Do not keep the filter in direct sunlight.
- The maximum recommended shelf life, before installation, is seven years provided the filter is kept under optimal storage conditions.
HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: Handle the filter with care. Do not touch the filter media.
The slightest touch may lead to leakage. Do not drop the filter to prevent
severe damage. Avoid liquid spills/splashes on the filter.
- Transport and carry vertically.
- Unpacking filters: lift the filter by the frame, and be careful not to damage the gasket or media. When available, follow the instructions on the box!
- Avoid twisting the filter frame.
- Large filters may require two people when handling.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep the filter in the box as long as possible before installation to avoid damage.
- For vertical installations, make sure the filter is fitted with standing pleats.
- Make sure the gasket is not damaged during installation.
FILTER CHANGE
- Camfil recommends protective equipment such as overalls, gloves and face masks when changing filters.
- Always check local regulations before changing filters
- Filters are not reusable. Used filters should be disposed of according to local regulations.
