HANDLING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION
Gab Filters
INSTRUCTIONS FOR:
- Basic-Flo
- Cam-Flo
- City-Flo
- Hi-Cap
- Hi-Flo
- Standard-Flo
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Store in a dry and frost-protected place
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Do not store the filter above 70°C
- City-Flo contains carbon media and must be kept in a plastic bag and a box to avoid exposure to humidity and contamination
- Recommended maximum shelf time for City-Flo is 12 months
HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
- Filter media is sensitive and should be handled with care
- When unpacking from the box: lift the filter carefully by the frame and not by the media
- Keep filter inbox as long as possible before installation to avoid damage
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Install filter with vertical (upright) pockets- in accordance with VDI 6022
- Make sure media is not caught by sharp edges or torn by details in units, and that pockets have not been pinched
- Add a gasket if needed to avoid leakage
FILTER CHANGE
- Camfil recommends protective equipment like overalls, gloves, and face masks
- Always check local regulations before changing filters
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
- Filters for one-time installation only
- Do not reuse, wash or clean filters
- Used filters should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations
