AIYATO Locator Quick Start Guide

Getting Started

Power On/ Oﬀ:
• Press the AIYATO Locator Function Button once to turn it on. It should a ringing chime to indicate that it is powered on.
• To power oﬀ, hold the same button for at least three seconds. You will hear two beeps to indicate that your AIYATO Locator is powered oﬀ.
Check For Updates:

Add Your “AIYATO Locator “

Start the App
• Open Find My app on your supported iPhone* or iPad®
• Allow notiﬁcations from the app
Connect your AIYATO Locator
• Power on your AIYATO Locator
• Tap H“+” then “Add Other Item”
• Once your AIYATO Locator is located, tap “Connect”
• Choose a recognizable name and emoji for your Item Locator and tap “Continue”
• Find My will ask for conﬁrmation to add your AIYATO Locator to your Apple ID – tap “Continue”
• Lap “Finish” and your AIYATO Locator will be set up and ready to be connected to whatever item you wish to locate, e.g., your keys

Find Item When Out of Range

Enabling “Notify When Left Behind”
• Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch
• Tap on your AIYATO Locator from the list
• Under “Notiﬁcations”, enable the “Notify When Left Behind” toggle
• You will receive a notiﬁcation when you leave your AIYATO Locator behind and it’s no longer in range of your device.
Enabling “Notify When Found”
• Under “Notiﬁcations”, enable the “Notify When Found” toggle
• When your AIYATO Locator is seen by another Find My enable d device, you will receive a notification of its updated location
• Note: “Notify When Found” can only be activated when your AIYATO Locator is out of range

How to deal with device loss

Enabling unlost Mode
• Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch
• Lap on your AIYATO Locator from the list
• Under “Lost Mode”, tap “Enable”
• A screen detailing Lost Mode will pop up, tap “Continue”
• Enter your phone number or email address and tap “Next”
• You may enter a message that will be shared with the person that ﬁnds your item
• Tap “Activate” to enable “Lost Mode”
• Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, “Notify When Found” is automatically enabled
• Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, your AIYATO Locator is l docked and cannot be paired to a new device

Resetting Your AIYATO Locator

Remove the AIYATO Locator from Find My™ app
• Open Find My app and select the “Items” tab
• Tap on your AIYATO Locator from the list
• Please ensure “Lost Mode” is disabled
• Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap “Remove Item”
• A summary will open, tap “Remove” to conﬁrm
Factory Reset Your AIYATO Locator:
• After successfully removing the AIYATO Locator from Find My ™ app, press the AIYATO Locator’s function button four times rapidly and t hen hold it a ﬁfth time until you hear a ringing chime.
• The AIYATO Locator is now reset and ready to be paired to a new Apple ID.

Replace the Battery:
• Use your ﬁngernails at the small gap on the side of your AIYATO Locator to carefully open the case
• Replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery placing it positive side up (text facing up)
• Carefully align the top hole on both sides to close
Unwanted Tracking Detection:
• If any Find My network accessory separated from its owner is seen moving with you over time, you’ll be notiﬁed in one of two ways:
(1) If you have an iPhone, iPad, or Find My will send a notiﬁcation to your Apple device.
This feature is available on iOS iPod touch, or iPadOS 14.5 or later.
(2) If you don’t have an iOS device or smartphone, the owner’s locator will automatically make a sound after a period of time. These features were created speciﬁcally to discourage people with its owner for a pend of time will emit a from trying to track you without your knowledge.
