Product Information

  • This dash cam is designed for use inside a motor vehicle. It should not be installed in a way that obstructs the driver’s view or the deployment of airbags. The camera requires a high-speed Micro SD card, Class 10 or above, with a capacity of 16GB to 256GB. Before initial use, format the SD card either on the dash cam or on a computer in FAT32 mode.
  • The camera features a built-in battery for saving video files after the external power supply is disconnected. It must be connected to an external power source to function, as it will not turn on without it. Ensure the camera lens is clean and unobstructed before installation.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Installation:
    Mount the dash cam securely on the windshield using the suction mount provided. Ensure it does not obstruct the driver’s view or any safety features in the vehicle.

  2. Powering On/Off:
    To turn on the camera, long press the power button. Short press the power button to turn the screen on/off.

  3. Recording and Settings:
    In video recording mode, short press the OK button to start/stop recording. Use the menu button to access different modes and settings.

  4. Playback:
    In playback mode, use the buttons to navigate through recorded media files. Short press the OK button to start/stop playback.

  • Q: What type of SD card should I use with this dash cam?

Warnings

  • Please read and understand all instructions before using this product. If any damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions, the warranty will be voided.
  • This camera is intended to use inside motor vehicle. Don’t install it where it will block the driver’s view of the road including mirrors or the deployment of air bags.
  • Be sure to use high speed Micro SD card, Class 10 or above, U3, 16GB-256GB SD Card are recommended. (Memory card is already inserted in camera.)
  • Before using this camera, please format the SD card on dash cam first, or take SD out then format it to FAT32 mode on computer.
  • This camera features Built-in battery as internal power, it’s used only for saving the video file after external power supply cuts off (car turns off).
  • This camera will not turn on without external power supply. External power is required when it is working.
  • Be sure the camera lens is clean and there is noting blocking the lens. Please tear off protective film of lens and suction cups before installation.
  • Do not leave the camera in the direct sunlight for a long period of time or where temperature could go above 140°F (60°C).

Warm Tips: The class 10, U3 high speed, 64GB Micro SD card is already inserted in dash cam, and we do not recommend purchasing a new memory card again. If you want a larger memory card, this dash cam supports up to 256GB of cards.

Button Function

Power Button

  1. To Turn ON /OFF The Camera: Long press power button.
  2. To Turn ON /OFF Screen: Short press power button.

UP Button

  1. In Setting menu, short press to select the setting options and adjust value.
  2. In Playback mode, short press to select media files.
  3. In Screen display, short press to switch Screen display.

OK Button

  1. In Video Recording Mode, short press to start/ stop recording.
  2. In Playback, short press to start/ stop playing the video.
  3. In Setting Menu, short press to confirm selection.

Down Button

  1. In Setting Menu, short press to select the setting options and adjust value.
  2. In Video Recording Mode, short press to lock current video.

M Menu Button

  1. In Standby, Short press to access Video Setting Mode.
  2. In Standby, Long press to access Photo Mode.
  3. In Photo Mode, Short press to access Photo Setting Mode.
  4. In Photo Mode, Long press to access Playback Mode

Set up and Installation

How to install Front Camera?
Connect the suction mount to the camera’s mounting socket, push it in till it clicks.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-fig- \(12\)

  1. Take off the protective film from the suction cup mount pad, set the camera lens to pointing forward to the center installing it.

  2. Installation Position : Most people will install their dash cam next to the rear view mirror and opposite side form the drive. First, please stop the engine where there is some light and in a safe place, and then remove the key. (Please avoid to attach the suction mount to the windshield black grid area.)

  3. Make sure to clean your windshield from the dust particles and an evaporated grease from the dashboard surface. Warm Tips
    Make sure that the camera’s view is not obstructed by any window tint or any other objects.
    If your vehicle has side curtain airbags please be very carful when running any cables along your vehicle windows. Ensure you are not running cable past any of the aribags as this can airbags as this can prevent the aribags from deploying.

  4. To lock the suction mount : press&hold it tight towards windshield to remove any air between suction mount and the windshield. While pressing&holding towards the windshield, turn the LOCKING knob towards CLOCKWISE to LOCK in place.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-fig- \(15\)

  5. Use the power cord to connect the Type C Port of the product to  car’s cigarette lighter socket.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-fig- \(16\) CAUTION
    Please use B-T37 package supplied original cigar lighter power cod, otherwise the camera may frequently reboot or flicker LCD due to insufficient power.

  6. Adjust the lens angle of the camera.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-fig- \(18\)

  7. Start the engine and check if the product works properly.

Warm Tips

  • Make sure to remove the Plastic Lens Screen Protector from the lens before recording videos. Otherwise your videos will look blurry and blocked.
  • Do not remove the Micro SD Card while the camera is turned ON
  • Otherwise it may cause memory card to be write protected and possible loss of data or damage your memory card. Always remove/insert memory card while camera is turned OFF.
  • After a test drive, check and make sure if all the videos are recorded correctly.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-fig- \(19\)

How to install the rear camera?

  1. With the rear camera, it should be installed above the car rear number plate, screw pad upward.
  2. Route the camera cable to the front of the car, connect the black cable of rear camera to the main device, rear cam wire method A and B is all OK. About the rear cam red wire connection, it depends on if your car have built in reverse system or not, see below 2 situations.
  • Situation 1
    If your car do NOT have built in reverse system rear cam view display monitor, you will need connect the rear cam red wire to the car reverse lamp wire positive lead.

  • Situation 2
    If your car have built in reverse system rear cam view display monitor, you no need connect rear cam red wire to any where.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-

Situation 1

  • If your car DO NOT HAVE built in reverse system rear cam view display monitor, and you want to use this dash cam reverse function, then you will need to connect the rear cam red cable to the car reversing lamp positive terminal.
  • When you drive forward, the camera display screen will show both front & rear view at same time, when you reverse car, the dash cam will show full screen rear view.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-fig- \(22\)
  • Different car the reversing lamp position is different, make sure your reversing lamp position is at the car left or right side first, then connect the rear cam red wire to it.

Situation 2
If your car HAVE built in reverse system rear cam view display monitor, then you no need to connect the rear cam red wire to anywhere. When you drive forward, the camera display screen will show both front & rear view at the same time, when you reverse car, the dash cam display screen will not change, it still show both front and rear view at the same time.Teqhome-B-37-3

How to install / remove and format the SD card?

Important Note

  • Make sure you are using a Brand Name, Class 10, U3 or higher speed Micro-SD card 16GB-256GB (A 64GB SD card is already inserted into camera.)
  • Do not insert or remove the micro SD card when the camera is turned on.

TO INSTALL

  1. Make sure that the camera is turned off first.

  2. Then align the Gold Contacts facing towards the front of the camera (screen side). Then insert the micro sd card half way in.

  3. Then use the finger nail or the Pin (Package included card removal tool) to push the card all the way inward until it clicks and locks in place.
    TO REMOVE

  4. Make sure that the camera is turned off first.

  5. To remove the Micro SD card, gently push its edge inward until it clicks, and then pops out, then simply pull it out of the slot.Teqhome-B-37-3-Channel-Dash-Cam-fig- \(24\) Before first time use, you MUST format the memory card in the camera to prevent any errors and for smooth operation.

Warm Tips

  • We recommend that you format the memory card every month to keep it clean for smooth operation.
  • Please note that memory cards have their self life span, after so many uses of writing data over and over, eventually they will become in operable. When that happens, please replace your memory card.
  • If you experience camera Freezing or Lagging or Stops Recording after few seconds.
  • Then it is the issue of the MEMORRY CARD. (NOT THE CAMERA ISSUE) – Please Contact Us.
  • This B-T37 dash camera is High Bit-Rate 2.5K Video recording device. Which requires High Speed Rating SPECIFIC Micro SD Cards.
  • Absolutely do NOT buy memory card from third party seller on eBay or online place. Otherwise they may be a fake cards and will NOT work.

3 Camera Modes

This camera has 3 Modes:

  1. Video Mode
  2. Photo Mode
  3. Playback Mode

How to switch mode:

  • When you start the power, the camera will start to recording the video automatically.

Video Recording Setting Mode

  • When you start the power, the camera will start to recording the video automatically.
  • Press OK button to stop the recording first,

  1. Resolution: Adjust recording video resolution

  4. Loop recording: This feature allows camera to continuously record loop by loop, you can set video file length per video clip.
    OFF, 1-Min (Default), 3-Min, 5-Min

  5. HDR: It’s a technique used to combine high light and low light in a picture to get a proper exposure image effect, so there will not be overexposed or underexposed. Recommend to turn on to get a better video quality.

  8. Motion Detection: This function allows the camera to start  recording when it detects movement.

  2. Sequence: Turn ON / OFF Three continuous shooting.

  3. Quality: Defines the quality of image you capture.
    Fine (Default)/ Normal / Economy.

  4. Sharpness: Defines the clarity of details in the photos.
    Strong /Normal (Default) /Soft

Select the video/image captured in the front/inside/rear camera that you want to view, and press OK to start viewing.

Tip:
In Playback, short press “OK” to start/ stop playing the video. On the video page, press and hold the M button to select a video. Press and hold the M button again to delete the video.

Tip:
On playing page, need to Long Press M Button to return video page.

Viewing Video/Photo on A Computer

How to transfer video from camera to laptop?
Warm tips
Some Type-C cable is just a charging cable which without data transmission function. Please use our standard package included Type-C data cable.

  1. Connect with USB Type-C Data Cable
    In video setting mode, select “USB Mode”, You will see “USB Storage”, “Charge” on the camera screen, just select “USB Storage” and press OK button to transfer video from dash cam to your computer.

Depending on your computer OS, the device will appear either as a removable drive or a removable volume.
