How Does Wireless Dog Fence Work?
When your dog wears the special collar receiver, and when you set the range by the transmitter, the transmitter will send a radio signal that the receiver can receive.
Your dog will emit a Beep Sound Warning when they approach the preset distance you decide on. As long as your dog continues to approach the preset invisible boundary and passes across the distance you set, the Beep Sound Warning/ Vibration/ Shock mode will be activated. This encourages your dog to return to the safety zone of your yard.
Working Principle
Wireless Dog Fence Mode
Under Wireless Fence Mode, you will see 1-16 levels show on the LED screen, which means the setting range is from 20ft. to 850ft., you can adjust the setting level by pressing “+” and “-” button, you need to test the desired range in advance.
There is no need to pair between transmitter and receiver. This mode can work directly after power is on. No limit in the quantity of dogs controlling with 1 transmitter at the same time.
- Set a range on the transmitter, then put the receiver collar on dog’s neck.
- When dogs are within the setting range, the receiver collar will not work.
- When dogs are out of the setting range, the receiver collar will work as below:
- Sound for 1 second + Vibration & Shock for 1 second (work simultaneously), indicator light flashing.
- 2 seconds later, Sound for 1 second + Vibration & Shock for 2 seconds (work simultaneously), indicator light flashing.
- 2 seconds later again, Sound for 1 second + Vibration & Shock for
- seconds (work simultaneously), indicator light flashing.
- After the above working cycle, it will emit di-di-di sound for 10 minutes to remind the dog back to the setting range, once he/she back, the receiver collar will stop working.
The receiver collar will automatically switch to standby mode if it does not work for more than 5 minutes.
Setting Range
- The signal field on your transmitter represents how far the dog can get around. The higher the number on the transmitter, the wider the distance of the signal field.
- The signal field setting regulates the distance at which the dog’s collar is activated. However it has nothing to do with the correction strength of the collar itself.
- Under Wireless Fence Mode, you will see 1-16 levels show on the LED screen, which means the setting range is from 20ft to 850ft (may vary due to different environment), you can adjust the setting level by pressing “+” and “-” button, you need to test the desired range in advance.
Friendly Reminder
- The preset Range(20ft to 850ft) on the transmitter may vary from different environment with various occlusions/signal barriers due to the 2.4G signal. (For example, obstacles like big trees or other signal like WIFI around may affect the effective distance) Sometimes, you set it to a second gear of 75ft, it may work at a position of 50ft cause the product may be affected by the environment, so you can increase the distance a little bit to a third gear or a fourth gear to find the most suitable preset distance. Therefore, after receiving the product, please take your dog walk a few laps after you set the range, find the right distance and gear, and repeatedly train your dog to adapt to the range before wearing the receiver collar.
- After the transmitter has been turned on, the signal field setting will differ. Considering your layout, use the table to choose the signal field setting that you desire. To adjust the signal field width, use the + and buttons on your transmitter.
- When you successfully set the range by the transmitter, the transmitter will send a radio signal that the receiver can receive. Once the receiver can NOT receive the signal sent by the transmitter, the receiver will emit Beep Sound.
Remote Dog Training Mode
- Under Remote Training Mode, signal symbol stop flashing. You can press the CH (channel button) to choose which dog will you train.
- One transmitter can control up to 3 dogs at the same time. (The transmitter has been paired with receivers by manufacturer, if you need re-pair them, please kindly check the instruction below.)
- The figure shows on the screen indicates that 1 for the first dog, 2 for the second dog, and 3 for the third dog. It can be selected by pressing “+” & “-” button on the transmitter.
- There are 3 functions to train dogs: Vibration, Shock, Sound.
- Vibration and Shock have 9 levels to adjust. Smaller number shows on the transmitter means shorter time/ weaker intensity, bigger number means longer time/stronger intensity. You can adjust the level by pressing “+” and “-” button.
How to Pair Transmitter with Different Receivers Manually?
Note: No pairing is required between the controller and receiver when
user receives the product since it has been paired by producer. But if you

Test In Advance
-
Static Shock Testing
Please test the shock function by using the testing tool, put it on the 2 metal probes, when electric shock works, the orange light in the tool will be on. And the stronger the shock mode, the brighter the orange light will be. -
Receiver Collar Testing
Set a range on the transmitter first, then walk with the receiver collar
until it starts with warning sound and red-light flashing, this indicates the receiver collar is within the warning zone. If you move further, the receiver collar will start working mode: -
Sound for 1 second + Vibration & Shock for 1 second (work simultaneously), indicator light flashing.
-
2 second later, Sound for 1 second + Vibration & Shock for 2 seconds (work simultaneously), indicator light flashing.
-
2 second later again, Sound for 1 second + Vibration & Shock for 3 seconds (work simultaneously), indicator light flashing.
-
To avoid over-stimulation to the dog, vibration & electric shock will not work anymore after the working cycle, but the warning sound will last 10 minutes until the dog go back to the setting range.
-
Put On Receiver Collar
After finishing the above tests, put the receiver collar on dog’s neck, then adjust the belt neither too loose nor too tight. -
Kindly Prompt For Probes
-
Make sure both probes contact the dog’s skin. If needed, a small amount of hair removal or thinning will improve probe contact with the skin.
-
Use short probes for short-haired dogs. Use long probes for long- haired dogs.
-
Finger-tighten the probes, then turn them one additional revolution. Do not over-tighten.
-
Check the tightness of the probes regularly to prevent loss of the receiver box.
-
Kindly Prompt For Collar Strap
-
To prevent accidental correction inside the home, remove the collar from the dog’s neck when it comes inside.
-
Place the collar around the dog’s neck with the receiver box under the chin. The collar must be on relatively tight to keep the probes making skin contact without restricting breathing. You should be able to slide only one finger under the strap at the back of the dog’s neck.
-
Always make sure the collar is functioning properly BEFORE putting it on the dog.
-
Remove other metal collars when the dog wears the containment collar. Metal collars may interfere with proper operation.
-
Remove the collar and trim the excess strap.
Charging
Transmitter
When the last section of the battery icon become red, it means low battery. It
will need 1-2 hours for fully charge, the battery icon on the LED screen will
flash when charging.
Receiver
LED light will flashing when the battery is low. Or when it turns on, it will
sound “Di-Di-Di…” continuously. It will need 1-2 hours for fully charge.
Training Your Dog
-
To get the most out of your containment system when training, keep these tips in mind:
Verify the system is operating properly and the signal field width is appropriate. -
Stay positive and playful during the training session.
-
Keep training sessions brief. Never continue a session after your dog has lost interest. Take a break to rest or play.
-
ALWAYS praise your dog for good behavior.
On-leash Correction
- Turn on the transmitter and reset the boundary range before placing the receiver on your dog.
- Place the receiver and a long leash on your dog.
- Play with your dog within the containment area for 2-4 minutes.
- With full control of your dog on a lead/leash, toss a treat on the outside edge of the flags. As your dog enters the Boundary Zone to receive the treat, he will begin to receive a beep warning and mild static stimulation (B)
. Allow him to stay in the Boundary Zone for 2 seconds then gently help your dog back into the Boundary Area (C).
Immediately praise and offer him a treat as he enters the Boundary Area, even if you have helped with the lead/leash. Wiggle a Boundary Flag to help your dog understand that the discomfort of the static stimulation happens around the flags.
- Repeat the above training several times in different places of your yard.
