TeqHome ALX-GTJ-01 Hand Held Garment Steamer

Precautions

  1. The power cord is broken, it must be replaced by the Maintenance Department of the manufacturer or professionals to avoid a hazard.
  2. Please pay attention to the steam splashing while using the machine.
  3. Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
  4. This machine is available for ironing wrinkled cloths, curtains as well as most fabrics. Please read the material tag of each cloth to check out whether it is available for ironing, because some of materials, such as leather, leatherette or velvet, are not available for it.
  5. Have a test on a fraction of clothing to see whether it causes damage. If not, use it at ease.
  6. Check out the back of clothing for air permeability to avoid being wet by the gathering of steam.
  7. Check out the pocket of clothing to make sure nothing is inside.
  8. Check out the back of clothing to see whether there is something that can be easily damaged by steam.
  9. Don’t iron the area around metal accessories since high-temperature steam can lead to discoloring or rusting.
  10. When turning up the steam switch, it is normal to see it vibrating with light buzzing.
  11. lf the buzzing becomes louder and with no steam coming out, it means there is not enough water in the water tank. Please check out the water level and add some if necessary.

Before Each Use

Remove kinds of stuff on the machine; Unwind and straighten the power cord. To avoid circuit overload, it is recommended to use it in a separate socket.
Operation and Ironing

  1. How to fill water:

  2. Pull out the plug of the water tank. (Picture 1)

  3. Fill the water tank with purified water or distilled water and ensure the water occupies at least 1/3 room of the tank.
    Replace the plug and put the water tank back into the machine. (Picture 2).

  4. Preheat for 20 seconds when the light indicator is on and turn on the steam switch when the light off. Then spray the steam for 15 seconds in the air, which helps remove possible residue and strange smell inside the machine.

  5. Turn on the steam switch when the power indicator is off and then from the nozzle comes out steam. Then you can start to iron clothes.

  6. Skills for Ironing:

  7. Hang the wrinkled article of clothing well smooth down the wrinkled cloth with one hand and handle the machine with the other.

  8. Turn on the steam switch press the steam head against the garment and move it from top to bottom.

After Each Use

  1. Empty the water out of the tank and turn on the steam switch to remove the remaining water and spray it into the air.
  2. Turn off the steam switch and then pull out the power plug.
  3. Put the machine on a flat table and store it properly after cooling down.

Skills for Ironing

  1. Hang the wrinkled article of clothing well and smooth down the wrinkled cloth with one hand and handle the machine with the other.
  2. Turn on the steam switch and press the steam head against the garment and move it from top to bottom.

Tips

  1. It is inadvisable to put the cloth ironed back to the closet at once since the residual steam will render it mildew. Hang your clothes outside for a period before storing.
  2. Clothes can be easily wrinkled after ironing.
  3. Clothes should be kept at appropriate intervals or they will get wrinkled.
