Product Usage Instructions

1. Remove the backplate nuts with a screwdriver.
2. Remove the backplate from the enclosure.
3. Use an 18 mm wrench to hold the old vent in place.
4. Use a 15 mm socket wrench to loosen the nut and remove the old breather vent.
5. Apply a small amount of adhesive threadlocker on the new breather vent threads.
6. Insert the breather vent through the hole with threads facing the inside of the unit.
7. Use an 18 mm wrench to hold the breather vent.
8. Use a 15 mm socket wrench to secure the metal nut onto the breather vent threads.
9. Ensure the nut is tightened to 10 in-lb.
10. Reattach the back cover.

USING INSTRUCTION

Perform the following steps to replace the breather vent:

1. Remove the backplate nuts with the screw driver (see Figure 2).
2. Remove the backplate from the enclosure.
3. Use the 18 mm wrench to hold the old vent in place.
4. Use the 15 mm socket wrench to loosen the nut and remove the old breather vent.
5. Apply a small amount of the adhesive threadlocker on the new breather vent threads (see Figure 3).
6. Insert the breather vent through the hole with threads facing the inside of the unit.
7. Use the 18 mm wrench to hold the breather vent.
8. Use the 15 mm socket wrench to secure the metal nut onto the breather vent threads (see Figure 4). IMPORTANT: Ensure the nut is tightened to 10 in-lb.
9. Reattach back cover.
