Product Usage Instructions

Cleaning

  • It is important to keep the scale clean for accurate readings.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the scale surface. Do not use water or cleaning solutions to avoid damage to the scale.

Operating Scale

  1. Suspend the scale in a secure vertical position.
  2. Press the POWER ZERO button to turn on the scale.
  3. Use the UNITS button to select the desired weight units.
  4. If using a container, suspend it from the hook.
  5. Press POWER ZERO to zero on the scale.
  6. Place the product on the scale, and the weight will be displayed.
  7. To turn off the scale, press and hold the POWER ZERO button.

Hold Function

To hold a weight reading, press the HOLD button. Press HOLD again to release the locked weight.

Adjusting Auto-Off

  1. Press POWER ZERO to power on the scale.
  2. Press and hold UNITS until AOFF displays, then release.
  3. Press HOLD to select auto-off time (OFF, 120, 180, 240, 300 seconds).
  4. Press UNITS to return to normal weighing mode.

Calibration

  1. Press and hold the POWER ZERO button.
  2. Press UNITS three times until ZERO COUNT displays.
  3. Press POWER ZERO, then press UNITS to select the calibration unit.
  4. Load the appropriate weight based on the model (refer to Table 2).
  5. Press POWER ZERO, CAL displays the weight.
  6. Remove the weight, re-power the scale, and the calibration is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How do I replace the batteries?

A: When “LO” appears on display, follow these steps.

  1. Remove the battery cover located on the back of the scale.
  2. Dispose of old batteries properly.
  3. Install two new AA batteries according to the diagram in the battery cavity.
  4. Securely replace the battery cover.

Safety

  • CAUTION Failure to heed may result in minor or moderate injury.
  • DO NOT operate or work on scale before reading and understanding this manual.
  • Do not use it for purposes other than weighing.
  • Do not leave loads unattended.
  • Do not Overload – it can damage the scale and will render the warranty null and void.

Cleaning

IMPORTANT

  • Always turn the scale off before cleaning.
  • Alcohol-based wipes when cleaning the scale are recommended.
  • DO NOT spray with or submerse into water when cleaning.
  • Refrain from using corrosive liquids or high-pressure washers.
  • Improper cleaning will render the warranty null and void.

Inserting/Replacing Battery

When LO appears on display, replace batteries with two 1.5V AA batteries.

  1. Remove the battery cover located on the back of the scale.
  2. Remove batteries and dispose of them properly.
  3. Install new AA batteries according to the diagram in the battery cavity.
  4. Replace the battery cover securely.

Operating Scale

Note Suspend the scale in a secure location. Use the scale in a vertical position only.

  1. Press to power on.
  2. Press to select units.
  3. Suspend the container from the hook if one will be used.
  4. Press to zero scale.
  5. Place the product on the scale, weight will appear on the display.
  6. To turn the scale off, press and hold .

Hold Function

  1. Press , when the weight stabilizes display will lock and the arrow will be steady.
  2. Press to release the locked weight.

Adjusting Auto-Off

  1. Press to power on.
  2. Press and hold . When AOFF displays, release.
  3. Press to select auto-off time (OFF, 120, 180, 240, 300 seconds).
  4. Press to return to normal weighing mode.

Calibration

Calibrate using the following process:

  1. Press and hold .
  2. Press three times and ZERO COUNT displays.
  3. Press , ZERO displays.
  4. Press  to select calibration unit.
  5. Load the appropriate amount of weight on the scale (See Table 2). The display shows the span count.
  6. Press , CAL displays, then the weight.
  7. Remove the weight, re-power the scale and calibration is complete.
