Allen Key tool (for specific models only)

  1. Locate your factory bulbs.

  2. Unplug the wiring connector from the bulb.

  3. Remove the old bulb from the housing.

  4. Now install the new HEISE LED bulb into the housing and secure bulb in place.

  5. Plug the factory connector to the harness of the LED bulb.

  6. Turn on lights and make sure everything is in working order, all connections are secure, and the beam pattern is sufficient.
    If the beam pattern needs to be adjusted, follow the steps below: For H1, H3, 880, 881, 5202, and PSX24: These LED bulbs have a fixed base and cannot be rotated. For H4 and H7 models:
    NOTE: Heatsink will be hot if the lights have been on for a while. With bulb in place grab heat sink and rotate clockwise to adjust beam pattern. No tool is required.

  7. For H8, H10, H11, H16, 9005, 9006, 9012, P13, PSX26:
    NOTE: Heat sink will be hot if the lights have been on for a while. Remove bulb and using the supplied Allen Key tool, loosen up the Allen bolt at the base of the bulb and rotate the bulb for desired beam pattern. Then, tighten Allen bolt to secure the base.
    For H13, 9004, 9007:
    NOTE: Heatsink will be hot if the lights have been on for a while. Remove the bulb and using the supplied Allen Key tool, remove the Allen bolt at the base of the bulb and rotate the bulb for desired beam pattern, then reinstall and tighten Allen bolt to secure the base.

  8. Adjustment of the headlight may be required after install, do this in accordance with your owner’s manual.

  9. You can change the light output color by putting either the 3000k film on for a golden yellow hue, or the 8000k film for a light blue hue. Just apply the color film of choice over the clear led bulb cover.

Keep your original factory bulbs so that you can replace them for use on public roads. Keep the box that the new bulbs came in to store the bulbs and be sure to handle them with care when removing and re-installing.
NOTE: Some vehicles may require a Canbus adapter to stop flashing/pulsating of bulbs or a lamp out messages in the instrument cluster. These can be purchased separately at your local Heise retailer.
