Quick Setup:

1. Download Loocam App: Download the app from the App Store, Google Play, or scan the QR code. Register an account and login.
2. Install the Device:
3. Place the gateway centrally among sub-devices, within 6 meters of the router.
4. Avoid load-bearing walls or metal coverings between devices.
5. Add the Gateway:
6. Power on the gateway using the adapter and cable.
7. Connect your phone to 2.4GHz WiFi.
8. In the app, select Add Device, then Gateway, and follow the setup prompts.

FAQs:

Q: What should I do if the indicator light does not turn green after adding the gateway?
A: If the indicator light does not turn green after adding the gateway, please ensure that your phone is connected to a compatible WiFi network and follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the manual.

Q: Can I add multiple gateways to my smart home system?
A: Typically, one gateway is sufficient for most smart home setups. Adding multiple gateways may cause network interference and is not recommended.

Introduction

Quick Setup

1. Download Loocam App
   Download Loocam App from “App Store” or “Google Play” or scan the QR code on the right, and follow the tips to register an account and login.

2. Install the Device

3. Install the gateway in the suitable place in your home. It is recommended to place the gateway in the center of all sub-devices to ensure a stable connection between the gateway and the sub-devices, and keep the distance to the router less than 6 meters.

4. Try not to have load-bearing walls or metal coverings between the gateway and sub-devices, or between the gateway and the router.

5. Add the Gateway

6. Power on the gateway via power adapter and power cable;

7. After the gateway is powered on, the indicator light is red, and the device is in the starting state at this time. After the device is started,the red light will flash;

8. Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi;

9. Open the Loocam App, click “+” on the top right corner of the home page, select “Add Device” and then select “Gateway”;

10. Follow the prompts to set up the network and add devices.

Note: After adding the gateway, the indicator light status is “green light on”. If you need to add a sub-device, please follow the prompts on the gateway homepage or the sub-device manual.
