Indicator Light Status
Solid red light: The plug is powered on and starting up
Slow flashing red light: Startup completed, waiting to connect to the
network
Fast flashing red light: Network issue
Slow flashing blue light: Connecting to the network/Network reconnecting
Fast flashing blue light: Firmware upgrade in progress
Solid blue light: Network setup succeeded or smart plug turned on
Light off: Indicator light turned off or smart plug turned off.
On/Off Button
One click: Turn on/off
Press and hold for 8 seconds: Reset the device
Quick Device Setup:
- Download “Loocam” App from App Store or Google Play Store, create an account and make sure that your phone is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Plug the smart plug into an indoor power outlet.
- The device’s status indicator will flash red, indicating that it has completed startup and is ready for network configuration. If there is no red flashing light, press and hold the On/Off button until the indicator starts flashing.
- Open the “Loocam” App, tap “+” icon on the homepage, select “Add Device” and then choose “Smart Plug.” Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

Use your smart plug only in indoor environments. See below for operating and
storage temperatures for the smart plug. If the equipment you plug into your
smart plug is used in a way not specified by the manufacturer, any protection
provided by the equipment may be impaired.
- Install your smart plug into an easily accessible socket-outlet located near the equipment that will be plugged into the smart plug.
- Before plugging equipment into your smart plug, make sure the equipment is turned off.
- The smart plug is not intended for use with medical or life support equipment. Accordingly, your smart plug should not be used to supply power to, or control the on and off status of, medical or life support equipment.
- Do not use your smart plug to operate equipment where inaccurate timing or accidental on/off commands could be dangerous (e.g., saunas, sunlamps, etc.).
- Do not use the smart plug to operate equipment where continuous or unsupervised operation could be dangerous (e.g., stoves or heaters).
- Do not overload your smart plug by plugging devices into it that exceed the smart plug’s electrical rating or by plugging a power strip into the smart plug.
- Do not remove the smart plug’s ground pin (the middle pin).
