- The results of length, width, perimeter and area are displayed on the screen.
Volume Measurement
- Press twice, and the symbol appears in the function field on the display.
- Press to take the· first ‘distance measurement (e.g. Length). Next, get the width, then height, the result of length, width, height and volume is displayed orderly.
Tips For Pythagorean Measurement
Pythagoras measurement can be applied to the different flat surfaces, please
make sure the vertical edge is perpendicular to the measured object.
NOTES
- AII measured points should be on the same horizontal or vertical plane.
- ln order to get more accurate measurement results, the laser rangefinder should be measured at a fixed rotation at a point
- According to the Pythagoras Theorem, the right-angle side cannot be larger than the hypotenuse; otherwise, there is a calculation error.
Pythagorean Method-Tow points
- Refer to Figure 1. Press 3 times to activate the function, and the symbol appears in the function field on the display.
- Take measurements with the 2 points shown in the below figure in numeric sequence, the height of the object will be calculated automatically and displayed on screen.
Pythagorean Method-Three points (1)
- Refer to Figure 2. Press 4 times to activate the function, and the symbol appears in the function field on the display.
- Measure with the 3 points shown in the below figure in numeric sequence, the height is calculated and displayed on the summary line.
- Press to delete any measured length and then press to re-measure.
Pythagorean Method-Three points (2)
- Refer to figure. Press 5 times to activate the function. the symbol appears in the function field on the display.
- Measure the 3 points shown in the below figure in numeric sequence, the result is calculated and displayed on the summary line.
- Press to delete any measured length and then press . to re-measure.
Auto Level Measurement
- Press to select Auto Level Measurement The side of the triangular icon will flash to indicate user when to press the measuring button -, the horizontal distance, vertical height, and angle will be calculated automatically.
Auto Height Measurement
- Press to select Auto Height Measurement The sides of the triangular icon will flash to indicate to the user when to press the measuring button -. Measure side 1 and side 2. The perpendicular distance could be calculated on the screen.
Addition / Subtraction
- Addition: press
- Subtraction: long press
- Take a measurement, then press , the addition I subtraction symbol will appear on display, then press-button to take the second measurement, and the second value will be automatically added to/subtracted from the first one.
Note: This process can be repeated as required.
HISTORICAL MEMORY
- Continuous long press to view historical memory, the last 30 measured values will be displayed in reversed order.
- Press to quit historical value viewing.
