Elementary operation and setting
Eyepiece adjustment
Rotate the eyepiece knob to fine-tune your vision.
Unit Charge
When the rangefinder powers off, long-hold the mode button ; then short-
press the power button to start up the device. The unit will simultaneously
shift between Y and M. (note: do not release the press of mode button until
your target unit is reached.)
Black & red display switch
- Short press the power button to start up the device. Black text is the default display mode.
- Long press the mode button to switch to red text display mode. Long press again to enhance red text brightness.
Operation instructions
- Press the power button to start up the device.
- Adjust the eyepiece to focus on the target before measuring.
- Rotate the red pointer of the slope switch to enable the mode switch.
- Short press to switch modes.
In the course of the measurement, if the target reflection is weak or is beyond the measuring range, it will display as”—“. The measurement range will be affected by the materials of the target & visibility of the weather. In general, if the target surface is smooth with great reflectivity and the weather is good without fog, the measurement range will be longer.
Rain & Fog mode (last target priority)
This mode is mainly used to measure rain and fog conditions. Due to the
influence of raindrops on rainy days, you may receive some invalid values
caused by the raindrops. The last target mode helps the laser punch through
moisture in the air to give you accurate distance readings by reporting the
distance of the last target.
Short press the mode button to switch to rain & fog ranging mode (Last-target priority) . Aim at target B. Short press the measure/display button, and the last-target-priority algorithm will eliminate the invalid values caused by raindrops and other particles in the air, displaying the distance result of the last target on the upper line.
Modes
BOW mode (horizontal component distance)
- This mode is mainly used to measure the horizontal component distance(HCD) to the target object. It is applied to bow hunting or other short-range hunting where you don’t need bullet drop/holdover information.
- Short press the mode button to switch to BOW mode (HCD) . Aim at the point B, and then short-press the measurement button. The linear distance (LOS) from the rangefinder to the target would be displayed on the upper line. The horizontal component distance(HCD) and the tilt angle will be displayed at the bottom of the LCD screen.
Auto-height mode
Short press the mode button to switch to the auto-height mode . Aiming at
point B, and short press the measurement button. The linear distance (LOS)
from the rangefinder to the target would be displayed on the upper line. The
height distance and the tilt angle would be displayed at the bottom of the LCD
screen.
Vertical height (between two points)
Short press the mode button to switch to vertical height mode . Aim at
target B. Press to get the distance and angle (the angle between the linear
distance and horizontal component distance) between A and B. Move to target C,
and press to get the distance and angle (angle between the linear distance and
horizontal component distance between A and C). The vertical height between
Band C will be displayed on the upper line, and the absolute value of the
difference between the two angles 8 will be displayed at the bottom.
Speed measuring mode
- The speed measuring mode is to measure the moving speed of the game. “a”must be less than 10°. The smaller the angle, the higher the accuracy. Short press the mode button to switch to the speed measuring mode.
- Aiming at target B. Press and hold the measure button and move slightly until the speed is displayed.
- Speed measurement range: 18~300km/h.
